Made breakfast for dds. eldest has had her medication so having a quick cuppa and a browse on here before going to A**i later for milk and veg and any good buys.
Planning home made soup and experimenting with tear and share loaf tonight. Lunch might be fish and chips and a browse round a computer place for new battery for a laptop.
DD loved the new recipe for lamb mince in a tomatoey sauce, sliced aubergines and a macaroni cheesy topping so resting on my laurels today as far as cooking goes. Washing is on the line outside and nice and sunny at the moment.

Morning all, lovely and sunny here so a good walk for me and Jack, Loki didn't want to come this morning. off to the supermarket for a stock up today. DD has a friend staying so they are off into town. WM will go on again but apart from that house is pretty tidy. Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them, sorry to hear about your hospital trip Molly and hope you're feeling better now. Good luck with selling the baby blankets HH people keep telling me to sell my quilts but I don't think I'd recoup the cost of the materials let alone the time spent doing it. Moorhen I'm surprised your children weren't at the door, last time I went out I was later back than I'd said and DD sent me a text saying I was past my curfew!!!!!!:rotfl: Julie67 hope the weigh in goes well and glad you are feeling more positive.
BBird hope you are feeling better today too. Have a nice day all

Just noticed your comment about ISAs. I am trying to do some research as well and would like to do better than 3% but can't remember where I saw the information.
The easier the info is to find - the lower the rate they quote "This site is addictive!"

As i said i have a friend staying and im sure ive mentioned b4 that she complains she doesn't sleep well,( i put that down to the continuous pouring down of coffee she does) she says it doesn't have that "keep me alert"affect, well quite obviousley it does cause since she had her last cuppa at midnightish she woke at 3am then i heard her up again at 6am and now she's sleeping:mad:
So ive done a general tidy up, pulled off the remaining chicken from last nights dinner for tonights tea which will be sweet and sour chicken with some rice and the carcus is simmering in the pan for maybe some chicken noodle soup,
Blue sky and sunny here and going to hang my coat on the line as its stinking of cig smoke:mad:
Enjoy your Day Tina xx

Good Morning x
Just catching up with all your news - hugs x
I have had an eventful 4 days. I went to a knitting group on Tuesday and sat for a long time in an awkward position. I ended up on Wednesday morning not able to move or to pee:eek::eek: Was taken to hospital in an ambulance and found that another of my discs had prolapsed. Feeling better now though but just another thing to contend with:eek::eek::eek:
So very quiet day for me but that's ok.
Fuddle - nice to see you on this thread. As I said earlier we are a very friendly bunch and don't stand for any nonsense as many of us have very difficult circumstances to deal with. Never in my whole life have I met such a friendly and supportive group of people and I am honoured to be able to call them my on-line friends xx

Yes and Im going to ask for a consultation because my wobbly gait is not helping things x
Thank you for the concern xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Thank you for the welcome Molly. I know this is a really friendly thread.
