  • When you click on the sort by button, you can sort by best discount now which will obviously bring up the highest discount items first, rather than price low to high.....

Hi, Thanks. However, when I chose all women's sale items then 'sort by discount' it doesn't work. Seems to jumble them all up with no rhyme or reason. EDIT - if you scroll down past the first 50 or so full price items it starts to show you the best discounts. Thanks.
Still wish there was a way to sort by discount and then by price like you could before. I'm not interested in things reduced from £1000 to £300, just things cheap !

This worked for individual sections, men's jackets and women's shoes, but not when I sorted by price in all home& furniture sale.

In one section it brought up first an item discounted by a penny, another went 25%, 40%, 90%, 70%.
  • I clicked into "womens", then I selected my size from the left, then I sorted by best discount. It worked a treat!

Could you point me in the right direction of the free delivery code please, I thought there was only free delivery if you belonged to the beauty club.

It's a miracle - just got dispatch email for the second order I placed yesterday. Just one top, and no news on first order yet :)

edit: first order also dispatched. :)
In total, 3 items on their way - makes up very slightly for the many items cancelled last time round

  • The site is working now. I was going to buy some dead sea hair products which are on sale at the moment but I checked prices on the same products on amazon site and they are cheaper there! Glad I did search first! Where did they get the original price from?!:)
  • Hi

I ordered 19 vest tops and t shirts yesterday for my holidays in the summer. I expected some of them to be cancelled because they were out of stock. Just had my despatch email and all are being sent out.

Hope hubby isnt in when they arrive

    Take care

Well, obviously this will come as no surpise to some of you, but this was my first online order with Debenhams....and my last!

I just got an email entitled - 'Debenhams Update' - how very fluffy of them.

Then it says the tracking of my order has been updated....see below...where it says...

'Unable to Fulfil - Payment Reversal'

No reason, nothing else, just a very impersonal email which skirts around the issue until you drill down into the email.

Pathetic show from them, won't bother with them again. Adding them to my now growing list of shops I can't rely on to actually have the stuff they are trying to sell to us on the internet and won't waste my time with anymore! In a way, I'm kindof glad. As long as they give me my money back of course.

For me, it's no big deal, I can easily get out and go round the shops, and this is not stuff I really needed anyway. but not everyone can. I wonder how frustrating this must be for them.

Thought I might drop them an email to complain but the webiste (like many) sends you a merry dance to try and contact them and beware their CS number is 5p a minute!!

POOR SHOW DEBENHAMS. Treat your customers better or join the long list of companies going into administration....I can't wait for the car booties to begin, to keep me away from these awful shopping companies. I must work harder on my anti-shopping NY resolution!!!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
