I don't think name calling is necessary but if you were caught speeding then i don't think you have any real grounds for complaint.
The only advice is to slow down but if this 3 points will cost you your licence then perhaps being banned will be the only thing that will teach you about speed limits.

You can only appeal if you have been found guilty ? if you havent been to court yet then plead not guilty and come up with some earth shattering excuse like I was concentrating on driving and can't multi task by looking at the speedometer at the same time, a million prats a day on the !!!!poor.co.uk come up with the little gem. Best thing is put up or shut up and learn like everyone else. That is unless there are other laws you don't agree with ?0

can I just let you know that you can be taken to court and loose your licence no matter how points you have, it does not just happen when you get upto 12 points,
my mate is up in court this tuesday, he had 6 points, got caught going over the limit taking him upto 9 points and he is being done, so don't think that you are safe if you only have a few points and get caught again because you are not, if you want confirmation of this, call the dvla0 -
Hi All,
Thanks to everyone that have been constuctive here, but I don't think I'll continue using the site, thanks to all the people who just use the site to slag of people or shout abuse. I don't get it really! there's obviously a hell of a lot of really angry people out there, sad really. I thought the site was meant to attempt to help people.0 -
If you can prove in court that you will face extreme hardship (eg. loss of job) if you lose your license, you may get away with fines only.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0

Come on guys, hasn't anybody got anything constructive to say here. There must be lots of people like me who would like this information. I was booked for 36mph in a 30 zone, and it could cost my license, so don't even bother to reply unless it's constructive.
just out of interest why weren't you offered to go onto the speed awareness courses? i went on one when i was caught doing 36 in a 30 zone. it cost me 95quid for a day of wrist slapping and another driving lesson and that was the end of the matter0 -
Not everyone is offered the speed awareness course.
There is no magic letter - Pepipoo is the best source of information.
All those shouting out "just pay it" need to be aware that mistakes are made and we have no information concerning how and when the OP was caught.Happy chappy0 -
I thought this site was called Money Saving Expert, not Steal Information Expert???
As in the example of the www.casedismissed.co.uk earlier mentioned, is it not enough that the charge is just a tenner instead of a £60 fine. Correct me if I'm wrong but you're actually asking for a copy of the information for free???
The information contained on this website worked for me, it might not work for everyone, but ten quid is indeed money saved if it does.

I strongly disagree with this. IMO if your due points you should get them and it's your own fault you'll lose your job and you should be out looking for another job as soon as you get the points if you know it will lose you your job.0 -

It's not copyright infringement. Simply freedom of information. So what we might be depriving some unemployed middle aged enterprising man sat at home watching the money roll in from this of a tenner or two?! They'll be making listening to music on the radio illegal next because you haven't bought the album... Chances are the person running the site illegally does not pay income tax anyway.
Put it this way, he's helping people commit crime - what's wrong with infringing his supposed copyright?!0
