thanks for all the good wishes,am still trying to get my head around it esp missing the funeral and feel myself getting angry that his partner did not tell me,I thought we were friends and had socialised together.I was closer to him as he lived opposite so we always chatted when we saw each other, maybe she did not realise(she did not live her but spent half her time here and half in her own house)I would have liked to have said goodbye.I keep hearing his voice in my head and seeing his house each day is hard.
hugs to everyone who needs them at the moment, this is such a supportive group :)
  • So sorry to hear of your losses, Rosemary and McCulloch. Makes you realise how important the 'pink candle philosophy' is.

Two NBI's. A Dettol No Touch hand wash refill in pink grapefruit - a friend was given it by someone who didn't realise it was a refill for a specific product, rather than a handwash . I won a No Touch last year, and am a bit fed up of the cucumber fragrance after eight months (it's lasted!!)

From the same friend: 150 ml of Alex by Alex Curran body lotion.
I had to Google to find out who Alex Curran was.
Some bottle - blonde, perma-tanned WAG who is married to Stevie Gerrard apparently. It says something for me, my interests and celebrity watching that I know exactly who he is! (Liverpool FC's captain).
