    - I hope you are recovering well xx

rosemary54 - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss :-(

Some things to report from me.....

    UU
Sanctuary 12 hour moisturising shower cream 250ml - WBA, have another in stash, nice smell, better as a treat though since it didn't last even 3 showers!
Charles Worthington Intensive Rescue Melting Balm 100ml - Got this free for a trial, WBA if it was under £10
LLK Conditioner 250ml - Several hotel conditioners decanted into a large bottle, nice though!
L'Oreal True match powder 9g Golden Beige - WDBA, my HG of foundations!

    GA
Boots Traditional cold cream 200ml - Tried and got through half the pot but it's sooo thick and oily and takes ages to get off, so it's going on freecycle. No biggie, it cost less than £3 anyway!

  • Hey gals, how are you all?
Had far too much going on to be blogging and commenting everywhere, but hopefully back on the straight and narrow now that I've got a wedding to plan for (thought I would get that out there lol!). I had a massive revamp of my makeup at the weekend. Spent a fortune but got decent makeup that will be used, and ditched the old crappy stuff in colours meant for teens!
Planning on officially rejoining this thread next month...if you ''ll have me that is

Next Just Pink Hand Cream - this came as part of a set which I won in a raffle about 18 months ago. I actually like this scent and would happily use again. The handcream was OK, it was kept in my handbag for using when out and about.

We re-surfaced our very old bath at the weekend and it is has been out of action since, hopefully I will be able to use it tomorrow but I do miss it (can't use the shower either as that is over it).

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

  • Luckily I get several aftershaves, sprays and shower gels etc for Christmas, I do not get through them in one year so I have loads of spares. I am not a huge fan of these products. But everything in moderation I suppose.

Really sorry to hear about your friend Rosemary :( Hope you're ok.

Things are manic here on all fronts! I have a few long-term splutterers that have finally given up, and a few more hopefully to follow in the next few days. Unfortunately I have even more INs to declare!

    UUs:
    - S&G Scrub Your nose in it - had this for nearly 4 years! Smells nice and minty and did an ok job if I used it once a week or so and only on the really congested places on my face (the rest it would just dry out horribly). Did a job but probably wouldn't buy again.
    - Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer Straightening Creme - a long long term splutterer, I've been using this on and off since 2006! :o Again, did a job but wouldn't buy again, have a few different ones in the stash anyway.
    - M&S Intimate Moment perfume - an xmas present. Nice and light fragrant, probably a bit too light for me but a nice gift.

    INs:
    - S&G Hand food - a colleague didn't like it so gave an almost full bottle to me.
    - Lush honey farm gift set - a very late xmas present:
    - Honey I washed the kids soap
    - Butterball bath ballistic
    - It's Raining Men shower gel
    - Honey Bee bath ballistic
    - Soft Coeur massage bar
I also went to a local fair at the weekend and won the following for £3 on the tombola!:
    - Palmolive Black Orchid and Moisturising milk shower milk
    - Body Shop Coconut gift set - soap, shower gel, body butter, body scrub and lip balm.

So far this year not doing so well on the whole 'getting down the stash' thing but will persevere. I am using things though which is good, trying to focus on the older stuff and may do a makeup clearout soon.

Following Rosemary's news, I had a phone call this morning telling me that my friend passed away yesterday evening. I was just getting ready to go and see her again, and I am so grateful that I took the chance to visit when DS had a couple of days off last week. DS popped in to see her for 10 minutes as he picked me up.
I have some lovely memories and I'm so grateful for all the effort I made to keep the friendship going. She moved back up here a few months ago and we had regular Saturday outings, just a couple of hours as more exhausted her. The last time, we sat in her specially adapted van (she was a wheelchair user) and watched the birds in the park opposite my house, scoffing chips washed down with Aldi lattes. Such a simple pleasure.
I will miss her very much.
