MSE folks need to belong to benefits and work because then they would see it for themselves and I would not be under pressure to try to convince you.

I don't agree with any advice based web sites that deal with benefits charging for information, I think it's tacky and exploitative.
There is nothing on that site that cannot be sourced on the web gratis.0 -
Sounds like the place to be if you want hugs and congratulations for failing a medical and to be told you are consigned to the scrapheap for life.
I'm sure it is full of all the conspiracy theorists, those who devote their life to milking the the benefit system for all its worth and those who have borderline conditions and want to make sure they don't trip themselves up when they apply.
For anyone who wants a more balanced view and/or is definitely entitled to benefits, a free site will offer what you need.0 -

I would rather pay 37p a day and get what is rightfully mine and get right advice by downloading guides how to fill in forms than even dare to rely on biased forums, even where there is very good advice and where what I call 'grassroot's is also indispensable to forming an overall picture so one knows where one is to go to next and what the obstacles and opportunities are.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I have to agree that too much "benefits bashing"is creeping back into this part of mse(in some parts its endemic),it usually takes the form of uncalled for negative comments.
As for B&W,personally i believe they have too much of an "agenda" to be as useful as they might be,but some people find them of some use,so you pays your money(or not)and makes your choice0 -

At £15.95 for an annual sub, that's £0.04 a day! Well worth it! I am subscribing.0 -
I have an idea..seeing as this information is supposedly available for free on the web (i haven't managed to find some of the stuff B&W have) maybe someone should make a sticky with all this easily found info so its easier to find, and moneysaving, after all this is MSEThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. @midduck If you could point out to me exact Posts where I unjustly call out people for benefit bashing then I can at least review them to see if I think it's true.
When benefits claimants are facing untold pressures because of the tories scorched earth policy towards welfare. I would be if supposed sufficiently under pressure so as to not think straight.
As for my own personal experience on MSE I have seen it too many times when I have posted and immediately a benefit basher comes along with some accusation which normally can be down to some baseless arguments/ maybe some legitamate arguments.
I have had to put on Ignore bashers who intentionally stalked me and harassed me on threads.
As a result I have a debating policy which allows me to debate rationally with bashers and tories alike but on non-bashing stalking terms as I think there are real issues at stake here.
Given the extreme difficulties now of claiming benefits and given that I have legally qualified for them for the past n years I will not apologize for the state I find myself in which is not of my own choosing.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
