Benefit and Work annual subscription...

My subscription to B+W is well worth the money, even at full price (but, as has been stated, the offers of reduced fees come round frequently).0

I have this Benefits Basher thing because you cannot breathe on this site virtually without a Benefits Basher coming along.
In addition legislation is being passed that will and is likely to harm me and other income and prospects because of the nasty pervasiveness of niave benefits bashers.
I may be like cit-k with his ATOS, both are bad both deserve warfare and fighting back.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Benefits and Work allows me to get at information independently without consulting a welfare rights advisor which I should also do.
I download what I like and have it in a form I can get on with.
The News service is good, some stories are public but most are not. The govt is always doing things undercover so the above sources are more than useful and I don't believe in headline news as a sole source of news and prefer to set my own agenda.
I don't think any other agency bar like agencies Law firms etc has it's degree of compassion etc whilst strictly not condoning benefit fraud.
I also enjoy reading Rightnets Forums. I cannot join as I am not in Welfare rights but there is much to disturb/entertain me there.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Benefits and Work is unfortunately one of the things MSE doesn't 'get'.
I stand by what I said.
I have seen brilliance and excellence on here, long may that continue, I would always have the love here, but the benefits.. this post is too hard to write.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

so people with a few bob to spare get more detailed advice.
they could do with a "light" membership so you say pay a fiver and get one download be it esa or dla info
Totally agree there 'Billy'...I wouldn't mind a fiver for each ;-)0 -

I actually haven't been there. But have certainly found the advice on here invaluable. It's a pity those who do bash (no names mentioned, you know who you are
) , could take the time to read the benefits board stickies and leave it for what it should be for.
I have expressed my thanks to those who take the time to help others, without it, MSE wouldn't be the great place it is now

save your money, it waste of money! ATOS knew about this guides and will overthrow!0

As with all things it is a matter of choice.
Even at the full subs rate of £19.45/year, this works out at just over 37pence/week. Once you are a member you generally get a discount coupon when it's time to renew. I believe they even have a 7 day money back guarantee if you are not happy.
B&W is totally independent, no ads, no grants, etc, hence the fee.
It is a safe place to post questions, there are no benefits bashers, trolls etc allowed. All posts are pre moderated by volunteers who have disabilities themselves. All answers to queries are factually based and not just peoples opinions. The guides are excellent, and once you have them you can help family and friends.
There are a few people on here that know their stuff, but the problem is, as with most other sites, all the other interjections.
As you may gather, I would recommend B&W.
Downsides, only answer queries on ESA, DLA and PIP, and forum is only open to posts Mon-Fri, 2-4PM 8-10pm, but you can access all other guides etc 24/7.0 -
I am glad that MSE is putting in a grand 1000 views + of this thread.
Well done @MSE.
Noone who is a fan of Benefits and Work, note that Title BENEFITS and WORK wants benefit fraud, people taking !!!! .
But with ATOS, dwp doing things secretly, welfare workers cannot be appraised in advance of developments anymore, because the dwp now pounces initiatives on us at a cost of us all.( absorbing material, discussing implications, real-life 'cases' coming on the benefits boards et al.
DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT WOULD LISTEN TO BODIES WHO WISH TO HAVE WELL DESIGNED POLICIES WITH FAIR OBJECTIVES?
All this means
More pain, more pain more pain and the least able in Society the unemployed, vulnerable disabled etc are made to buy for the neoliberal right wing assault on the welfare state.
sticking my neck out here.
MSE NOT getting benefits and work puts pressure on me to say what I DO KNOW.
I wish there was more belief, more trust etc, more goodwill for me on my legal threads, poor though they are, because I only do it for the best, the best for MSE, as a enthusiastic but ignorant amateur.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
