  • I am glad I subscribe to Benefits and Work and considering it is only £20 in a year it is money well spent.
*benefits bashers get ready to accuse me of not being MSE*
I can download all the guides I need and get specialised news not seen in newspapers, that tells me what is really going on.
MSE is just a streetwise at its best I would not go to MSE for the full story as it is awfully lacking and benefits bashers feel they must invade cry for help threads.
MSE might be better if they learnn't how to see what really is going on and not what they wish to think.
So for me Benefits and Work means I get a truthful if deppressing view of what is going on. Deppressing because there is nothing this despicable nasty condem administration won't stoop to in punishing benefits claimants.
Life here means I am unable to enjoy the well managed sleuth to sees a genuine authentic case of benefits fraud because I and others are too busy swimming for the lifeboat.
So ignore folks who say it's not MSE, or that the knowledge is available elsewhere, I haven't seen it and I need proof that all the content is available elsewhere.
Go for it, your eyes will be opened and you will have a mental buffer zone in which to deal with the benefits bashers here in all their various guises.

  • There are good people like Mutleythefrog Benefitsbaby and those who demonstrate an obvious knowledge and CARE of benefits claimants without in any way wishing to condone welfare fraud which wtc makes us all liable too.

You mention benefit bashing three times in this one post - despite there being absolutely no bashing at all going on. Do you ever stop to consider that might have a problem? Perhaps you could try and leave your accusations of alleged benefit bashing until there is actually some evidence of it on the thread you re actually posting on. Hmmmmm?! Want to try that?

I have saw contributions from yourself in the past on these threads that could amount to such to be honest. I can recall an occasion I queried this with you... You had nothing further.

Coincidentally to respond to an allegation of 'Benefit Bashing' as readily as you did, as you say, Hmmmm

Is someone not allowed to express an opinion without being called a "basher"? Mara69 makes a good point - the poster was calling people for benefit bashing when nobody had done so!

You're quite a regular contributor to the benefits thread, are you saying the bashing does'nt happen? The poster (wouldbe') was 'calling people' for benefit bashing in a historical context. Which if you care to look at some of Mara's old posts, will provide you with a prime example of the benefit bashing 'wouldbe' was referring too.
  • B&W site downloads are not bad for the money and as much as it would be nice to get that level of information for free..... its just not going to happen

so people with a few bob to spare get more detailed advice.

they could do with a "light" membership so you say pay a fiver and get one download be it esa or dla info
In London, you're never more than 20 feet away from someone telling you you're never more than 20 feet from a rat .

People have an opinion - it saddens me that, just because you disagree with it, you shout "benefit basher".

If you care to look at wouldbe's previous posts, you will see that she constantly refers to benefit bashers where there has not been any. Hence, Mara69 makes a valid point - wouldbe appears to seek out "benefit bashing" even where there is none. Indeed, a quick search shows 68 recent posts from wouldbe using those words or variants thereof.
