I could get girl's running shoes, but don't know if they'd be just as good? I am a size 3/4 so...?

Me too! Got my trainers for about half the price. They are boys but very unisex so not obvious. I'm not sure of girls trainers will go up to size 4.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

I think u can buy kids trainers up to a 5.5, so you should be fine. I can't see that they'd be much different, kids run too.'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

slightly off topic I know, but do you realise SF that your last 2 posts had exactly 12hours between them. Both were posted at 9.14!!!
Well I have nicked (long term borrowed) my mother's Bread making machine today, will see how well i get on with it, and if I like it (good 3 months trail i think) will buy my own.
Apart from that don't think I need to buy anything today. So I should end this week £3.69 left over that can go into a savings pot.

Lol I didn't notice, that's quite strange!
Had a good day today. Treated myself to a coffee this morning, but I think I'm going to do quite well on budget this week. How is everyone else getting on? Not heard from a lot of people in a while!

Evening all
Have just sat down and worked out the budget for May (even though we are 7 days into the month!!!)
My budget for the month is £400, this includes food of £100, transport £100, socialising, christmas savings £30 etc and also a mobile phone bill for over a £100     I don't need any lecturers, this came about cos I got a new phone and didn't get a bll for 2 months and the last month of the old contract, so in effect this is 3 months worth of bills and about average, which is fine considering the phone is permanently glued to my thumb!
Have just spent the weekend with 2 mates down in Hastings, which was nice and although I hadn't actually budgetted for it, I didn't spend that much.
I have a bad tooth ache and have an appointment on Wednesday for a filling. Am a bit miffed cos I had to cancel the last appointment last min cos I couldn't get away from work and will be charged cancellation fee. The appointment I had before that (which was about 3 weeks ago) was cancelled by the dentist as the nurse had phoned in sick for that day. He didn't bother calling me and I arrived at the surgery only to be told he needed to cancel the appointment. It's not like I can charge him last minute cancellation fee is it?! Luckily he is an NHS dentist and I have got a 'dentist budget' built into my monthly contingency fund so hopefully that shouldn't cost too much.
I need to get a few food bits in but I am holding out as long as possible before I do an online shop and also cos I want a good code for clubcard points!!!
I have to take a train for a course I have on Thursday. Will cost me £15 and although I can claim it thru expenses, I won't get it back until end of June which is a bit of a pain... hey ho
Sorry for the rant... and that's my budget for the month!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
