why thank you - I just made a debt spreadsheet so that each month i can type in what i have paid back and see how much i owe. It depressed me a bit, adding it all up and seeing the total on the screen. I thought about going to the shop to buy something to cheer myself up, but your message has really made my evening and given me the determination to not go to the shop to waste any money :) thank u slowly fading.

How did your planned no spend go today? x

I'm gonna join in on this one, if no-one minds. Gonna try to keep my food-and-treats spend under 200 quid for the month; £7 a day, which I think is perfectly viable.

Spending diary too, perhaps? It'd be my first major attempt at one... :D

£2 spent today on ski training for the children, apart from that, it was a NSD so still well within my budget so far!

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

i avoided sainsburys :) and just went & bought milk instead.

Tomorrow, having sussed out the facilities at work Im going to take in a spare portion of chicken & veg n the freezer and quickly whip up a bit of pasta to sling in it.

Ive been asked/requested to attend tomorrow evening drinks with work so bang goes a NSD :wall:
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Do you mind if i join in ?

This is something i need as i am on my first month of budgeting as my first payment has gone to Payplan.

Waste so much money normally so this should be interesting.

After bills etc i am left with £282 for the month. This is for petrol and food for a family of 4.

I am meal planning so lets see how i do.

Well today I had to buy a plastic cover for my essay. Just been practising for my conducting exam this afternoon, and i'm SO screwed :( feel like crying, but that's not very productive. Hope everyone else has a good afternoon.
