Wow, what a litany this thread has become. Though I suspect that it represents the entire industry as much as just one supplier.
I'm hoping that once we get our type 2 smart meters in 3 years time, the ones that stay smart when you hop across any and all suppliers, it'll be possible to get highly discounted pay as you go energy.
Comparing energy with mobile phones there are similar issues about disputed billing, closing down contracts etc, and I've always found pay as you go to be the simplest and most indisputable system. Cheapest too for low users.0 -

Hopefully, it won't be too long before we can boil our kettle with our mobile phone, then :cool:0 -
Showed good savings £30 month over my previous excellent supplier Ovo, but monthly DD will be £10 more. Also DD payments made to both suppliers during changeover period, not sure switching suppliers is alls that its cracked to be. Flakey meter reading Isupply website. Poor first impressions!0

The one who was cagey was spark energy ( I left them December 2013) who said there was a problem on the system , and I should ring back in one week.
I rung back after 6 days to be told very rudely that I should have rung back after 7 days and would not help, but they would ring me.
4 weeks have gone past without a call and I rang back today to find that they owed me £310 which the have been conveniently sitting on for nearly three years and I am being paid back but not till 7/10/2016

iSupply are offering a 3 year fix which is very good compared to my current deal which is due to end soon. However the stories in this thread are rather worrying. Has anyone got anything good to say about them?0

Tried switching to ISupply via Energy club on 26/10/16, was informed on 5/11/16 that switch had failed due to incorrect postcode for my meter on the industry database. Phoned them today and was asked to try joining via their website, tried that but was not allowed to join as I don't use enough energy! Perhaps this company is not for me0

If there is an issue with the way your meter is registered on the industry database, then that is something you should bring to the attention of your current supplier - only they can correct it.
Until it is correct, the issue will be an issue with whatever supplier you attempt to switch to and by whatever means.
Sorry to hear the silly suggestion iSupply made to you. Not sure if that was because someone wanted to avoid paying commission to a switching site (and hence cashback to you) whether someone was hoping for a christmas bonus in their own pocket for switching you, or just because they don't know what they are on about (most probable reason)0 -
Yes, it did seem a very competitive tariff.
Sadly, it has since been pulled
don't think so just been on there and it has been quoted to me just now also on mse email if you read.
but after reading all the bad cs by the look of it ill just stick with my current club deal till end of feb next year and keep an eye out for a longer fixed till then.
havent heard 2 people recently come along and say all is good, which says volumes to me.0 -

footyguy is correct.
The 36 month tariff was pulled on 4th November. It was replaced by a less attractive 33 month tariff.
I can't see any mention of iSupply Energy in this week's email ... or last week's.0
