Co-Op are now refusing to respond via Resolver (they manager to respond to that pretty damn fast!) citing the fact that the e-mail is not 'from my usual account'. Sounds like a cop out to me. They have my name, address and account number. What more could they need? What if I had just changed e-mail address?0

Just managed to get through to Coop. Woman was very nice but even she was confused after looking at my account records and couldn't give me a definitive answer. Said she would get a manager to call today...fingers crossed.
And yet I've had an email from MSE Energy Club saying the switch has been completed??!!
Should have mentioned in my previous post that I've cancelled my DD with Coop. They haven't taken any money so far.
As to be expected, the manager didn't call
However someone called last night and asked me for my meter readings even though my gas is not supplied by Coop.
I just told them that I had cancelled the switch and she said Ok.
I've complained using Resolver and now escalated to one of their managers. Not holding out much hope of hearing anything.0 -

Unfortunately this is probably the worst ever switch to a new supplier yet what is going on at Coop Energy? Why are they even in the Energy Club? This is the first time that I'm starting to regret joining this club now this switch is just unbelievable I'm expecting direct debits coming from two suppliers OVO and Coop energy. Coop energy as usual do not reply to email (had this experience with them before switching from Coop to OVO last time in 2012), I've tried the specially set up email account because of the problems still no reply. I get an email from Martin Lewis's energy club to say the switch is complete yet Ovo are still my supplier. Coop have not contacted me, haven't asked for meter readings, haven't given me an account number, I'm am so in the dark here the thought of two energy companies dipping into my bank account that could potentially bounce my mortgage. I'd like to think being in this club that Coop Energy gets dropped from the list otherwise this club could lose members0

One more day and I can complain to the ombudsman. It now appears that I have been switched back to EDF but nobody has confirmed anything from Co-op.0

I moved from Coop energy to Eon the switch to Eon and the cash back worked OK. The problems started when I tried to get a final bill from the coop, I switched early March 2015 and I still have not had money owed to me by the coop. There customer service is extremely poor0

Why are they even in the Energy Club?
Hi itjohnson,
We're sorry to hear about the problems you've had with your switch to Co-operative Energy. We don't think it's right to remove suppliers from Energy Club as we aim to provide a full market comparison.
As soon as we were made aware of the problems that Co-operative Energy was having we issued a user warning on the Energy Club results page. We've also published two news stories on the matter, here's the latest:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/energy/2015/06/co-op-hit-by-customer-service-backlash-in-mse-energy-poll
If you send us an email at energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com we'll see what we can do help.

So the Co-op are point blank refusing to respond via Resolver. They have also failed to respond to my formal letter of complaint. They haven't acknowledged my meter readings. I can't access my account. I can't make a payment. I don't know how much I owe. I can't get through on the phone. What do I do now?0
