parking a large company vehicle

Just to update this
It has now been sorted, he no longer has a company vehicle, took a while to sort out got passed around different people, it was in the end the threat of reporting it to the police what seemed to get some action done
Then a manager from the company head office called me one day out of the blue about my complaint and explained that from the end of FEB he would no longer be allowed the use of company vehicles for personal use, the drivers are not issued company vehicles it is a perk that they can use them for personal use so long as the vehicle will not cause obstruction and can be stored on private property or off road!! Witch it was not and never has been! he came home init that night but the next morning it was gone, early and never came back, this was about 2 weeks ago
(so this was actually the reason it was taken off him because he had breeched his contract or whatever for the personal use onit, not because of my complaint),
as I was initially told its at the drivers discression where he parks it and there was nothing the company could/would do
Anyway he knows its me or next door what’s complained, he now parks his car outside instead and makes a point of doing so as well (was previously just on his driveway and rarely moved)
However does not affect us or next door as much so he can carry on as far as im concerned
If he had being more reasonable/courteous to us in the first place I would have never rang his employers or perused it,its his arrogance what got him in this situation
there is a stretch of road around the corner, witch would have not caused anyone any problems he could have parked it there quite easily as another bloke who sometimes brings a company van home does!0 -
He'll soon get bored of parking his car there.0

He would if it mysteriously grew cress in the roof...
Anyway, sounds like the sort of numpty that feels he's winning a small battle so i doubt that but well done to the OP for sticking with it.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Tyres do sometimes just go flat on their own. Can be very inconvenient.
Aye, but if the guy thinks the tyre just went flat on its own how will this entice him to park elsewhere? So not really a suggestion that would solve ops problem. Although I suspect (hope) the original comment was tongue in cheek.0 -

We have a large company vehicle (the same as the OP, but not the same Co.)parked across our house, driven by our next door neighbour, and are finding it difficult to manuvre ( in our opinion ) in and out of our driveway. I dont want to argue over the silly details like tax n insurance, i would just like to know if we have any say and with whom. I have contact our locally MP, who have agreed with us in the matter of inconvenience, but im stuck where to go now.
Doesn't your MP have anything better to do than get involved in inconvenient parking?0 -

Glad to see you've sorted it and now your quality of life has now been restored.... even if it at the expense of somebody else. Back to your bubble. Next thread '4x4 parked outside my house'0 -
Well solved somewhat... the van will park between the next two drives, still obscuring ops visibility.
I thought the problem was that the physical width of the van didn't leave enough room to get cars out of driveways in a reasonable manner.
Hence why the neighbour's attempt at being a douche by parking his car there is not causing the same problem now.0 -
