if you see from the photo showing the red circle, this is where the said vehicle parks, inbetween the 2 drives, we live at the top drive, and when we try and drive out, we have no way of seeing the cars leaving the cul de sac across and no way of seeing vehicle coming around the bend.
I hope i make sense :-|, i hope u see the pics.lol
the pictures have been taken on a quiet day, normally cars are road parked everywhere, during the afternoon and night, also our house is the one after the two wheelie bins, so we have caravans near too.
Dont take this the wrong way but how do you think people go on who need to back out into main roads etc? You've said yourself this is a cul de sac so its hardly Brands hatch I imagine.
The road is reasonably wide so a van parked on it isn't going to cause problems with traffic flow.
Have you considered reversing into the drive instead?0 -
i accept any feedback, and yes i can reverse quite confidently, my un ease is when i reach the top of the drive to pull out and i cannot see through the truck, to the said culdesac or the bend, who will be liable if i have my front end smashed? will the company or the neighbour pay?
ps, i am not getting grouchy, im just wanting advise from all angles.0 -
in reply to pulliptears i never said i lived on the culdesac, please read post correct before comment0

Agree with this ^^0 -
Buy a Nissan Micra, or similar small car, for banger money with some MOT and tax left.
Park it where the van normally parks.
Problem solved, at least until the MOT expires.0 -

it maybe wouldnt be so bad if it were painted white - but i would absolutely HATE to see this as the view from my front window
even watching TV i would be able to see it out of the corner of my eye(and wouldnt be able to stop myself glancing/winding myself up more)
OP I totally feel your pain - the driver sounds like an ignorant ar5e and I hope he gets a telling off from his employer.0 -

Dont forget to factor in the cost of insuring it just to keep your view clear.
What about parking there yourself.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
