Evening ladies
Skint - good luck vibes for little Holly
Dragon - hope your results come through very soon with reassuring news
Ionafan - I hear you, girl - OH used to run a wargaming club - I now have a barn full of gaming tables and metal men!
Had a productive 24 hours - lots of baking - since decluttered! - made chicken liver pate for the first time - absolutely lushhhhhh - nom nom nom. Went lovely with 3 cheese and walnut rolls but the waistline will not thank me by the end of the week.
Room of Doom here was the outbuilding. Got up bright and breezy this morning and cajoled OH into emptying out one of the outhouses of junk. Filled his van and my car to the brim and took it to the tip. I reckon there's about another 2 loads to do, but at least it's a start. Did a bit of the paid stuff this afternoon and made an egg-free tart for dinner with DD using up leftovers.
Kitchen has been blitzed and WM and TD x 6 - all folded - just a few bits to put away tomorrow as I'm too tired to do it now.
Fasting blood tests and an ECG trace first thing tomorrow, followed by 6 hrs paid stuff. Will try and fly tomorrow evening if I've anything left to give.
Night-night all
TMD xxDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -
Big hugs Dragon, I hope you get answers soon.
Just had hubby up:eek: He wanted to know if we could give it another go:eek::eek:
He still loves me and I do love him but not sure I want to be with him. So stressed:(The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Very impressed by those of you who have tackled a bit of your Rooms of Doom.
DS3 spiking a temperature so the usual round of hallucinations about to begin no doubt. DS1 poised with the phone on record and DS2 laying with him whilst he is calm. This is not being mean, GP wanted us to try to capture him on video but we will have to try not to snigger as we can set each other off by saying 'what did he say'?
Going to set WM and lock up and mog up for the night. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh G&B in your heart somewhere will be the answer, good luck chuck xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Dragon - lots of "got nowt" vibes for you
Skint - take it easy lady and hoping Holly has less yellow each day
Dusty - hope that you manage to capture the events and that you don't all burst into giggles
ionafan - lol at the humpy bridge
Vali - it doesn't seem possible that its 2 years, I really liked reading Diva's posts, I've lit a candle, thank you for the reminder
CY - your Doc music made me laugh
G&B - hugs
I cleared the ironing out of the ROD [DR] and I've made a start on the Ebay stuff thats in there so even if its still there next week at least its all being worked on, just need to get some of it listed - comp was playing up tonight, also need to take pics and list all the stuff on the landing.
Also decided to bath the dog tonight as I suddenly realised that he was rather stinky and making the house smell, it was rather a major task, he's a cross between a Collie and an Alsation - very heavy to heave into the bath - he goes all soft, lies down and refuses to move and thats before he's even in the bath, once in it he becomes fully alive and tries to high tail it out of there which he managed tonight, I ended up having to call DH to help me get a shampooed, wet, smelly, dead weight dog back into the bath - I was wetter than the dog, there is hair everywhere so my job tomorrow is to dehair the bathroom! But the dog smells lovely :]
Helen
DH is back at work tomorrow, he's still a bit wary about sudden movemnet, like when you sneeze, but he is alot better and yo be honest I will be looking forward to having from 8.45am until 3pm all to myself - mean, I know.Projects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -

Finish my outstanding OU assignment
Make a good start on the next assignment
What are you doing? I did a Master's with the OU a few years back; hard work when you're as lazy and good at procrastination as me.
Good luck with it.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
helen_jelly wrote: »Veg Seeds ordered, also went to a Garden Centre [am I sad cos I love a Garden Centre visit] and bought more seeds, just waiting for a lovely Spring day so I can get going with the planting
Not at all sad - garden centres are the only form of shopping I enjoy!! Or maybe I'm just sad too...........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Forgot to mention in my earlier post, When DD was waiting in York Hosp to go down for an operation, the music they played to calm the patients was 'If tomorrow never comes' by Ronan Keating.
I love it when people have a sense of humour!
The joys of the NHS. OH lost a kidney in a m/c accident years ago, and the first meal they gave him was steak and kidney pie. And that's true; I couldn't believe it. Yuk.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Hugs to Dragon, Skintybaby and Dusty
I don't know where the time has gone since Friday, done bits and pieces of flying and just about ticking over. I think most of my flying has been further mini-forays into the freelance world. Met my 2 new students of Friday; lovely people so I will enjoy working with them. Just been sorting out paperwork for tomorrow's assessment (also freelance). So......feeling encouraged, I need to:
- download all 2012 bank statements and sort out exactly how much I need to live on and whether I can afford to plan to go freelance later this year
- properly update all the miscellaneous receipts, work-related scraps of paper etc and see what's what
- RofD must therefore be the study so must aim to have no piles or trays full of pending paperwork by.........let's say 2 weeks time.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I didnt come back after my HHC-sorry:o
Princess has been a horrible grouch today,I can only imagine it to be more teeth. The only time she was quiet was the two hours she slept through playgroup and as she munched on a pineapple lolly as I went through Asda afterward. She's also managed to make another big fat hole in her mummy milk which she has done every time a new one cuts:( This one is particularly eina:(
SkintI gave up BF bras because they were so uncomfortable and bought myself some Belvia bra's-so comfortable, easy for her to "get in" and much nicer to sleep in.
By 5 o clock when I went to put some pasta on for them, I thought I would be giving up my flight plan for the day with only the pots done (was it MrsMP who said she shouldnt have let them stack up?It spurred me to get my small pile done.
I decided to work on the upstairs bathroom when the kids were in the bath so I got the floor scrubbed and the door (previous occupants were disgusting and Im still scrubbing all the brown off the walls.I doubt there will be much paint left by the time its "me clean",but that wouldnt be the case if LL had put right before we moved in, so there.
After kids went to bed I picked up the lounge and did the toilet, basin and top shelf in the downstairs bathroom-so pretty happy with today.
My highlight today was The Doctor arriving home from school with the taxi driver lugging a HUGE box.He had been called up in assembly to accept an award for 100% attendance. He got a craft set with crayons, felt tip, pastels, paints and a load of other bits (168 pieces). It was a HUGE deal for him since all through reception and year one (until I got my motability car and drivers license) was such a struggle that there were days when he wouldnt go to school because I couldnt walk.
