  • Morning everyone!

Unfortunately work yesterday was horrendous, even worse than what I first thought. We got there, went to go unset the alarm to open our safe so we could bring tills up BUT it wouldn't unset . We had to wait for an engineer to come out to it but we had no money so we were very limited at what we could do and it was like that till 12.00 and it was constantly busy. Luckily the manager from another branch came over to help us for a bit. Then our tills didn't balance (no surprise considering the day we had) so we had to find those before we left at 6. And I get to work again today :(

    Anyhoo rant over.

Fri - Visit to Mr T's for biscuits, yogurt, broccoli, swede, cream and some reduced chilled soups to freeze for work. £6.22 spent (£3.78 put in savings pot)

Total for week - £41.43/£70.00 (£28.87 put into savings pot as well as £50.00 OH got from his Dad due to a win on the horses :))

Pledging £70.00 again for next week
Have a good weekend everyone xxx

    So....night out costs:
    Travel £12.60 train + £4 taxi
    Food & Drink £26.50
    Total £43.10

    £90.40/£100

Really hoping I don't spend anything today and will stay under budget for the week. And I'm pledging to put any difference in my savings pot.

Next week's target is £75 (need to work away from home and that always ends up costing money - and just remembered I'm getting haircut tomorrow!)

Starting as I mean to go on, shop total for today was £75. Nicely stocked up so fingers crossed i shouldn't need too much other than the basics.

So on day 1 my totals stand = £75/£150

    Happy weekend everybody!!
    Looking for a fresh start

Another £15.28 spent today out of the grocery budget. Went to get a paper and needed some other bits and a little treat for me and hubby. :D

So total of £88.83 / £120 for the week. Didn't spend from my misc budget, spent £50 of the petrol budget and the rest was the grocery budget.

Off to set up next weeks thread and work out my budget.

Thurs/Fri and today were all no spend days for me so I came in at:

    £13.15 out of £15!

My Tesco shop will be the big thing for next week - £4.45 on Marmite is steep but he won't eat the cheaper ones and spits it out, at least the big jar will last ages! - but I'm still going to pledge £15. :)
