Well so far so good on the car front. It has passed the MOT. :j Although it is also having a major service. And I've just mentioned the steering so I'll see what comes of that.SPC 18 Target £200 /0

Well a total of £333.09 for the car today, which I am extremely happy about. It sounds odd to be happy but was expecting it to cost more and had money saved for it. So can't complain.
This wasn't included in my weekly budget, thankfully.
From my weekly budget -
£50.00 - petrol
£8.34 - groceries
Really am going to try and cut down my spending, not sure how as I am on a tight budget anyway. But my maternity leave is looming and really want a year off, so need to save, save, save now.
Hope everyone is well and staying out of the shops.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Mon: NSD!
Tues: £3 irish lotto (you never know!!) £7 at Age UK on some new bits for me and the kids.
So far £72/£100
Will have to get a small mid-week topup at the shop but shouldn't be more than £5.
Managed to pay off another catalogue account today with money saved this month alone. Cant believe how quickly things are moving just by being more careful with our budget (which previously didnt exist!).
Thankyou to all of you for this thread and especially ETO for keeping things updated :TLooking for a fresh start0 -

£16.79/£35
£5 odd spent on groceries (Cat litter and hand soap included) I thought this week was going to be really tough as I had £35 for all spends this week. I found about £8 rattling around in the bottom of my work bag today so a little of the pressure is off, but I will try to keep to the £35. Then the £8 can go to another home.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
