Yes, and I also said that I'd happily pay full price. With any of these things I go into it with a "If it works -great, if not doesn't matter". I would not be unhappy if they cancelled the codes tomorrow. You win some, you lose some.

I'd just like to say that I am a student, and I actually went and bought 2 Sun papers - as much as I hate The Sun - and now I can't even use the tokens because all 30,000 have gone because someone has ruined it for the rest of us. I hope that those who have used the code unlawfully get penalised, their travel cancelled or fined - and those of us that actually bought the paper they should have just got us to post in our vouchers as proof.

And the people that have been posting on the RSH facebook page - are you just !!!!!!! STUPID or what!?!

Actually, the fault lies with The Sun and not RedSpottedHanky.

The codes were provided to "The Sun", and it is The Suns own website giving out the codes - so it is up to them to manage and distribute them fairly.

If some idiot made the promotion live a day early at the sun and started to dish them out too soon, that clearly isnt RedSpottedHankys fault?.

The Sun should hold their hands up, admit the fault, and cough up another 30000 tickets then rerun the promotion

I have tried this morning to use the 3 codes issued in the paper and I just get a message at the top of the form saying 'All the codes are used'. How did people manage to apply yesterday when they had not even printed 3 codes?

Apparently, someone on HDUK, I think, cracked the code yesterday & posters published the 3 codes on there & here (& probably other sites too). Reading some of the posts, some people have been incredible greedy, so it'll be interesting to see what The Sun has to report about it.

If I were RedSpottedHanky and The Sun asked me to do that, I would just remind them that it was their promotion, and they were wholly responsible for dishing out their codes. It had nothing to do with RSH. Its The Sun's mess, they should clean it up and reissue / purchase another 30000
