  • Choccie - at top of same page where you entered code on RSH under heading 'E-Vouchers' you should see 'Remaining Balance £9.50' on top line and probably expiry date Jul 27th 2013...even though it says code already used
  • Nope, mine says £0

    Oh well. Never mind x

dont start having a go at me, idiot:mad:
They didn't have a go at you in particular, but you certainly had a go at him/her. They have a point, and calling him/her an idiot just reflects worse on you than them. The final code hasn't been published yet, none of us should have a voucher.

And it's amusing to see others here complain that people have dared to alert RSH of the misuse of their voucher promotion - which includes people going for just one as well as those going for multiple.

Neither would I. Might be a bit hot and I would not be able to store it.

I've briefly read some of the comments on the other forums that were highlighted by posters and all I can say is... oh dear.

When people abuse offers like this it reminds me of the reason why we need rules and penalties to keep people in check.

I can't see how the Sun / RSH will be able to overlook the misuse of this offer, because I suspect there will be a huge number of complaints.

The fact is that all the people who secured multiple codes for their own use (in contravention to the one code per person rule) have broken the rules of the promotion. This could be investigated by RSH / the Sun using their database.

I also point out the following rule:

Some posters have stated that it would be too messy for RSH to sort out because some people have already bought tickets using the free credit.

However, (1) the tickets are not processed instantly, (2) they know who you are and if you've ever had tickets delivered to your home / work, they already know where you live or work, (3) in any case, they have your i.p. address and could trace you via your ISP.

Being mindful of (2) and (3) they could take legal action for any loss incurred or otherwise attempt to recover any debt owed to them as a result of fraud.

Also, people should be very careful about what they post online, such as scripts exposing website vulnerabilities for others to exploit. They could potentially open themselves up to legal action for the whole amount of the loss incurred (given that pursuing one or two individuals might be considered the easier option).

This particular example is all the more surprising because the individual who posted the script on the facebook page is not anonymous; using his facebook profile and google, it's possible to discover where he works, his home address and even how much his house costs and when his house was bought. This just emphasises the need to be careful about what you choose to post online.

Taking advantage is one thing but if you abuse a system to such a degree, eventually someone will make a scapegoat of you. I got one voucher accepted. I have done well with RSH over the couple of years, but individual codes - saved £40 off a first class single - almost free ;)

But claiming £200 off one code is asking for attention and trouble - Srudents have no cash though so they probably will push a little harder

Now says all codes used after filling in form :(
  • Will make it easier for them to just cancel the codes issued. After all, no one should have had 3 codewords yet, so everyone who has a discount already broke at least one rule.
