Hello every one, I had a NDS yesterday, I went to see Wreck it Ralph for free, and my friend treated me to lunch as a thank you. I began to teach her what I have learnt in the past 2 months an d she was amazed and asked to show me. I went shopping with her in the after no and saved her £5 off her spend by buying bulk and when we went to a private jewellers to buy a christening gift I asked if they would consider giving a discount for cash. They did, I got £1.50 off the price for her! She was shocked and said she was too scared to ask. I said, why not, you've worked hard for your money, Dont give it away feely

Today is going to be a NSD too and with my current eBay sales at over £250 with 5 hours to go, i think I may be getting most of my overdraft payed off by the end of this month, fingers crossed.

I am going to claim my 3NSD today

I sneaked in a NSD yesterday, starting off my month well. So that's #1 done.

Missed one today because I had a few errands to run in town, then met up with a friend for a pub lunch.

I have some good news though!! On Thursday I was offered a new job!!! A maternity cover teaching post, doing Year One at a lovely school about 30 minutes drive away. Very pleased with myself!

Excellent, well done and good luck with the new job.

  • Afternoon everyone

It's grey and overcast today and quite chilly too.

I was hoping to declare NSD 2 today but have received a text from my b-i-l. I really liked something he bought a few weeks ago and asked him to get me one next time (I know, I know I'm copying :D ) and so he has ...... I am going over there to pick it up this afternoon. I might be cheeky and ask him if I can transfer the money tomorrow as it will already be a spend day! :D

My whole life these days seems to revolve around money (and not spending it). I never gave it a thought until a few months ago (which is why I can't afford to repay my credit card balance in full next month ) and now I've gone from one extreme to the other :rotfl: Step aside Scrooge! :D

I'll be back later to let you know what he says and update my number (hopefully). :)

Flubberyzing, congratulations on your new job. :T
    ModestyB,
    wishing you a speedy recovery.

    Freeby,
    thanks for updating.

    Sorry to anyone I've missed.

    Have a good day everyone.
