Good morning all, lovely crisp morning with blue skies here!

Reading about all the jobs for newbies in work places, where I used to work (many moons ago) I was sent to catch a snake on my first day. Really. It was only a grass snake though (in the middle of Ashdown forest)!

I worked on an RAF base and newbies were sent to pick up some K9P from the dog section.:rotfl:

    Morning all.
Todays my quiet day so must get on with housework (with some nice long tea breaks in between for reading and posting :D )
Big hugs to Logie, Tinyshoes and anyone else who I can't remember needs them (I've been keeping up as best I can for the last few days while lurking) and hope Alfie Lala is OK now he's home and settled.

I'm still nodding knowingly at some of the sayings we use people keep mentioning. We have 'stuff that for a game of soldiers' (errrrr....!!) and I used to get told I had 'hair like a horses bum!!'
One I always used to get told when we were going on holiday was we were 'going to airgate' (I think that's spelt correctly). No idea what that meant??

Need to sort a couple of A shops for tonight (including Mullers and S&G). I feel a bit more confident now after my first shop (I think someone said the muller glitch was a nice one to start with so I'm moving on to the S&G one if it works today as I seem to have got the muller one nailed). Hopefully they're glitching today :)
Right, better get the washer loaded and then I'm sure it's time for a tea break :D

Morning all. Early night and a lie in this morning to recharge the batteries (too many whoopsie scrums this week I think:rotfl:)

Enjoying the sayings. Here's one we use to describe someone who's tight/not a sharer:

"he can peel an orange in his pocket":)
