One of our expressions as a child "was it's black over will's mothers"
meaning it was looking like rain. Also " there wasn't enough blue to make a pair of trousers for a sailor " for describing how blue the sky was when it was blue plus cloudy.
My husband hadn't heard of either of these, and just thinks i am mad

Its the middle one! the APG tells me the second one is choco snaps, although the receipt just says cereal, but i have checked with msm and choc snaps are £1.68.
just checked on msm and there is only 2 others for that price in the offer which are honey hoops and golden balls.

you only need eight different vairrties, so you could buy two of your favourite and it would be fine.

This made me laugh! I caught one security chap unawares one time, he was putting a "wet floor" sign out and I asked him if it was an instruction. He was chuckling away until he was at least out of earshot! I so want to try some of these!

I was feeling a bit bored once, it was a nice day and I was on the High Street. I stood there, just looking up at the sky. A bit of a crowd formed, all looking up. I left them to it and popped in a shop, five minutes later there was even more people there just looking up. I wasn't looking at anything in particular, doubt if any of them were, but it was a good way to pass a few minutes. Dread to think what they thought I was looking at!

If you've not got around to reading Martin's newsletter yet, there's something all the driver's should be aware of. "Over two million people carry an expired driving licence photocard. I dont even have a photo driving card, mine is still the big piece of paper type, i have had no reason to update so have kept the paper one, i am ok........aint i?
