Just had a wooden knife from Kingsmill, Thanks to the OP.

Is it supposed to be a butter knife ?

My wife didn't half look at me funny when I pulled that out.. Think ours will be for decorative purposes only..!

Redeemed myself with the Kingsmill travel mug, that was a winner! :D

    Morning all,
I was prosecuted once, by van.
It was over twenty years ago and OH had just lost his job and was watching tv in bed despite me forbidding him as we couldn't afford the licence.
He didn't answer the door but we still got the fine letter in the post a couple of weeks later .
I think it was £40 and I remember crying about it and having a row:(
Sounds as though you were found guilty in your absence :(

I have to disagree mad as I also got fined for having an illegal telephone, do you remember the ones with the five mile range that were long before mobiles.....
I used to go shopping with the phone tucked in the pram and Oh would ring me from his works, the signal being sent from my landline socket.
The were called supafone and I think Dellboy had one in only fools and horses.
Will you stop getting fined please :rotfl::rotfl:

So sorry, but it was many, many years ago and we liked a bit of technology and stuff, you know how it was then.
Do I also remember that cb radio was illegal as well, you had to have a licence and only broadcast at a certain strength........omg I am really showing my age.

It's been mentioned on here a couple of times, you need to buy in 10s max as the multibuy doesn't kick in. I haven't bought any yet. Might get some corners today if it's still working. I believe these are veggie?
If you buy 20 in one transaction, the multi buy doesn't kick in but you can go to CS and get a refund on the difference along with the £2 goodwill, it still shows on the apg and you get £7.60.
I was told by store there was a limit on the number you can buy and can only buy in 10 in one transaction, but no sign in store to state this. Store said they would put a sign up and 4 days later still no sign. Tempted to go back and buy another 20.:rotfl:

Disagree, if that would be your uni digs and your parents didn't have a licence, would you have to buy them a licence when you went home and used your laptop to watch TV?

Obviously not, so the reverse and most obvious situation is true, you are watching your laptop at uni benefiting from the rule that allows you to watch a portable device anywhere outside the home.
Your making my head hurt. :p If there is no license at the parents property then no devices are therefore covered home or away (so you wouldn't be able to watch that live either :D)
