Hi everyone, can I just ask a quick question before I go for a catch up...
this morning I used 2 APG's and handed over the receipts, the sa did not mark them so I asked for them back, would I be able to print and use them again, or is that pushing my luck"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -

TV license inspectors cannot enter your property/ dwelling without your permission either. The TV license detector van/ hand-held device is a load of old doo-daa to get you to stump up your £145.50
Yes, that's what he does vanillatwist, on his laptop on iplayer etc.
However the tv licence detector van thing I have witnessed first hand last year when having to hide behind the sofa at a friend's rented ground floor flat when the chap was knocking at the window saying I saw you Mrs doodah watching the tv with your friend and you haven't a licence - his van was parked outside and he was a big scary chap!:eek: I had always thought it was just a ruse to get you money too, but not now....I like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j0 -

Certainly isn't straightforward. They have so many ways of making people think they are license dodging scum :mad:
Regarding your friend. If he didn't have access to a live signal and only used his VHS player to watch videos he should have told TV licensing to bog off
When we first moved to where I live now we didn't have any signal but still had the equipment which is what they say must be licenced, it is irrevelant to the licencing board whether you can actually watch tv , I had to get sky to watch anything so was paying twice for the same channels from bbc and ironically at the time I liked corrie and you didn't get ITV on sky:oThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -

My nan also had a 'landing light' which always used to make me think of runways and aeroplanes when I was little :rotfl::rotfl:
I looked up ginnel. Apparently, it's Shared Access To Rear Of Property or passageway. Think they are only up north (coronation st springs to mind:D)as I've never seen them anywhere in the south. Here is a pic.
Is that elsie tanner in the pic ? LOL0 -
I beleive the first part is true but the only way the authorities have of knowing if you have a receiving device is from the retailer which is why you are required to fill in a form when you buy and that address is passed to the licence authority, so unless your dd/ds buy a tv or dvd player and declare their address the tv people are just guessing or scare mongering:)
Which brings me on to another part :rotfl:They say you can get slapped with a fine of up to £1000. However, the average fine has shown to be less than the cost of a TV license :rotfl::D Still, not worth the hastle if you do watch live broadcastsAKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

Morning all,
I was prosecuted once, by van.
It was over twenty years ago and OH had just lost his job and was watching tv in bed despite me forbidding him as we couldn't afford the licence.
He didn't answer the door but we still got the fine letter in the post a couple of weeks later .
I think it was £40 and I remember crying about it and having a row:(0 -
It's been mentioned on here a couple of times, you need to buy in 10s max as the multibuy doesn't kick in. I haven't bought any yet. Might get some corners today if it's still working. I believe these are veggie?
The corners are veggiejust look for the VOK on them
Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D
:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j
:money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.790 -
