    Thanks Jo - Hugs back!

I was so tired earlier and could of happily curled up on the couch and fallen asleep - but forced myself to stay upright - now I feel wired and have a banging head and palpitations! Doesn't help tha my mum keeps ringing - I know she is trying to be supportive but it really isn't helping! she keeps asking me 'did i say this and did I tell them that!' just keeps going round in my head!

Managed to stop myself drinking but agin only because my DD2 is here! If she wasn't I have no doubt I would have wine in my hand now!

Definately going to take a herbal sleeping tablet tonight - the camomile tea is not helping at all!!!!

I have realised that although i can now count 7/31 ALF days I am fighting a desprate desire to drink every night - which i would of almost certainly succumed to if I hadn't been on this Dryathlon challenge!
  • Evening everyone,

No alcohol for me tonight so that makes 2/14 for me.

I haven't caught up on today's pages yet - sleep well everyone!
  • popping back to say sleep well Judi and well done Jo. And thanks for the blast from the past PBT! And Alex hope you are ok after the incident. And now I'm off to sleep. Sweet dreams.

Green Karen - I sympathise . I put on heaps of weight when I gave up drinking.

In the words of One Republic - Counting Stars.

    I feel something so right
    By doing the wrong thing
And I feel something so wrong
    By doing the right thing
    I couldn't lie, couldn't lie, couldn't lie
Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

I really don't want to pile on the weight so will have to be mindful of this. And weight can be just as big a killer in it's own way!
    How right the song is!
    5/31 AF today

Not AF tonight but I wasn't planning to be anyway as it's tuesday and my night out, as people on here from before will know. I am meant to be going out (maybe) with DH, DS and a good mate tomorrow night but will see how things go. I do not drink if not going out even if there is beer in the fridge. I will see how things go tomorrow as tonight I feel like I have swallowed a bucketful of razor blades ..... not good :(

  • 2/10For me. Slow start but as from my sig am now back at 'fat fighters' so not much room in the plan for alcohol. Still one day at a time. Much of this excess blubber is the wine.
