Not declaring yet after my shoe on and off thing last night. I've dropped the kids off been to tesco and bought some chicken drumsticks to make with lemon, garlic and coriander in the actifry, salted caramel cheesecake for afters :drool:, a pack of Becks Blue and a bubble bath lined up

Back to work at 0730 tomorrow, mustn't forget my alarm clock....

Oh and OH has just bought a new dartboard in a cabinet, a mat and spotlights so we can spend the evening playing darts, the old board was ancient. Gimme summat to do in the evenings

Have some Becks blue in the fridge too which has been snubbed thoroughly over the last few weeks but no doubt will be worshipped tomorrow

5/31 AFDs for me. Went out for late lunch/early dinner, had a lovely meal with DH, and am now snugly parked on the sofa.

I really don't need to know about your delicious dinner, we decided not to go out so I am IMPATIENTLY waiting for my chicken to cook!

jo I really feel for you - I feel the same when my younger kids go to thier dads - Thats why this weekend was going to be so tough! Luckily My older 2 have been here both nights this weekend and I can't let them down! I have to confess I almost wanted them to go out last night so I could sneak a quick drink!


I have been to the gym yesterday and today so that has helped I'm sure - but I have eaten half my body weight in junk food to compensate for my lack of alcohol! This needs to stop!!
I also had the worst sleep so far last night! Hope I sleep better tonight! back to work tomorrow and have meetings with Social Services to look forward to which I could do with a clear head for!


My thoughts go to everyone who are struggling - I had no idea how hard this would be! the negative feelings that surface when we face our adictions are enormous! keep going everyone - we can do it!


I am going to declare 5/31 even though the night is still young!

If it's any consolation jo - I am about to create some kind of concoction with left over turkey for dinner! your chicken definately sounds better than that!
