A planned non AFD this evening but had just two glasses of wine (small) in a restaurant with dinner and actually feel quite merry! Cannot remember the last time I felt a bit tipsy! Really appreciating having a moderate drink. occasionally rather than drinking loads every day out of habit...
Came home and had a cup of tea instead of a bottle of red which would have been my approach before...
Have a good evening those who are still awake!
Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

I am not sure that using one drug to replace another is really the way forward but hey, who am I to preach and if it helps, why the heck not?! ;)

:rotfl: It's not something I make a habit of, in quite a lot of pain at the moment so there is a reason.

I'm not about to replace the drinking for opiates. ;)

:rotfl: It would be very easy to fall into that trap!!! I had higher dose c0deine on prescription for rather longer than was strictly necessary after C Section but they are very controlled so it wasn't for long and I didn't get addicted.
  • Hello guys and thank you for all the congratulations! I am still in a bit of a day dream but a sober day dream. 4/30 AFDs for me please :D

Indeed, hence only taking them when needed.

My wife was in rather a lot of pain for quite a while after she had a C section, so much so she wished she'd opted for a natural birth.

I think that's a great strategy, straight to the kettle rather than the wine rack!

Well, I've poured myself a nightcap :o, as it's after midnight so technically Thursday, I think I'll make Thursday a planned drinking day and try to have either Saturday or Sunday off this week.

Reporting another AF night for myself taking me to 5 AF so far for the month! Almost wavered as I dished up dinner and saw OH having a big fat glass of chilled white wine but swung over to the carbonated water instead!

Then went on a crispy walk later on to kill off some more evening time!

Have a lovely day and see you all back here tonight for <No> drinks!
