PS Great Blog! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Congratulation SkintDad on your engagement, and a bottle of wine to celebrate is easily forgiven by anyone i think.
I will post 2/15 for November please Shaggy. Planned drinks tonight, not working on Wednesdays is great for a nice quiet night out on a Tuesday without the local Saturday night rabble, but we must remember not to go out again on the Wed afternoon - that's been the recent problem.
In the summer it was "oh how lovely a walk in the sun then a beer garden", now it seems to be too wet to go out, "lets go to the pub". Must get our heads round that one.
On a brighter note we seem to have been really good on Sundays recently, one step at a time I guess.
Take care and enjoy Tuesday everyone0 -

I feel like that - there always seems to be a reason to have a drink, if one looks hard enough! In my case, oh it's Friday - let's have a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the start of the weekend (followed by bottle of white, then red...). Or, oh it's Saturday night, let's have a nice bottle of red (or two) with our dinner, preceded by gin and tonics. Oh, it's Thursday, nearly the weekend, let's have a bottle... Oh it's sunny let's have pimms! It's winter, let's have whiskey macs or sloe gin!
I'm trying to replace that with... it's winter, let's wrap up warm and go for a blustery walk and come home and have hot chocolate in front of the fire.... Tough though!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

That's exactly it mrsdee. We have cut it back a lot lately by saying on a Monday and Thursday - its a drink day tomorrow, yea! and then looking forward to it, mostly its working we hardly ever have a drink on Monday or Thursday.Occasionally it will also spill over to work on a Friday as well but it depends how work has been.0

Congrats SkintDad - read your blog and you'd successfully made me a little moist eyed by the end!
As much as I would sincerely like to toast you I am mentally doing so with a carbonated water! Calling 4 AF nights for tonight!
