2 AFDs please, Shaggy. And please will you change my target to 27? Just checked diary, 27 should be doable, 28 is pushing it. :j
Satchmo - my anxiety has been creeping up over the past year or so, together with my increased wine intake. I'm due to start therapy for the anxiety, and I've re-joined this wonderful thread to help with the increased wine. :T:j
I had a lovely lunch and afternoon with DD1 in Leeds, where she is in her 4th year at uni. She was 'studying' in Australia last year for her 3rd year, so it's great to be able to just nip over the Pennines and see her
Have a great day everybody xx:cool:0 -
You're a star satchmo. I don't know what happened to me tonight but I decided to have a drink. I think it may have been because I could (lot of month left) and a minor celebration but they're all excuses. Back on it tomorrow. And :Tto everyone more self-disciplined than I.:o
I almost joined you with a drink last night Maman but I stuck to my guns even when my OH tried to persuade me otherwise
:T Well done Satchmo for not resorting to drink - it is more difficult to resist when you are feeling anxious or stressed.
Pricey - good luck with the anxiety therapy - hopefully having DD1 nearby will help too.
So that is 2/14 AF for me please Shaggy.0 -

Hey up lovlies - nice to see some new and lovely familiar faces too.
Helping here lots too - getting a bit stressimifed about wellyfest stuff - so trying hard to focus on my month ahead rather than give into a wee glass of wine.
I'm 2/25 Shaggy which includes tonight - I'm calling today early as I've a lot on and am determined not to have a glass and there's none in the hoose - I only bought a wee bottle last night for my wee treat.
Had a cheeky wee glass (large) last night - after class - in town late and just fancied just one, which I often do after I've been teaching.
Like Maman said early in the month and all that.
Hope you're all good.
Thanks for the thread while I don't always post I do normally read everyday.
Hugs for those feeling a bit stressed, I ken fine how that feels!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Hello lovelies
Once again I felt terrible today and regretted drinking last night.
A couple of years ago I would have got to this point in the day and because I feel better, I would have gone to the shop for more
Not today. I drove straight past the shop thinking "how did I ever used to do this every day?" I didn't drink on 30sept or 1oct and I didn't smoke on those days either... I felt really good yesterday so why did I spoil it with wine!!!
Well done to everyone who has managed 3/3 so far!!!
...oh and tonight will, obviously, be AF so 2/15 for me please, Shaggy.0 -
I'm calling in now as I'm determined not to have a drink tonight.
2 AFDs for October please Shaggy.0 -
3/25 AFDs, and I had to take a day off work as I felt so rotten. When stressed I suffer from IBS, and I certainly did today, bleugh. Actually, I worked from home, so I don't have to book a days sick leave. Still, I don't feel so bad tonight, as I had an update from my brother and he's feeling ok despite his radiotherapy. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

((hugs)) to you Satchmo, keep your chin up.
A pop in from me to record another AFD. but I swear that if there had been some white wine in the house I'd have drunk it!
But I kept to my guns and it's AFD 3 for October thank you Shaggy.Trying to keep in budget.
