Popping in with an AFD to finish the month. Anyone doing the sober october for macmillan cancer research?
I thought 'there's no way I could as I am off on holiday in a week'. A nice bit of self sabotage there!Trying to keep in budget.

I managed to reach target on the last day of the month too so that is 10/10 for September.
Seems there are a few SW'ers on this thread - as Maman says it really does help to keep the alcohol syns under control
Thanks for keeping the records Shaggy - what would we all do without you :j0 -
It's all relative fru, I'm pleased because I beat my target but then it was only 10 to begin with.;)
The wonderful Shaggy beat her target too!!:T:T
And you managed 18 which is way over mine and fru's.:T
Totally agree on the weight loss. I started cutting down on here before tackling Slimming World. There's no way I'd have coped with that and carried on drinking at the same rate. I'm a huge SW convert, the only 'diet' I've ever tried. Take a look at the 7 day sample menu. It's amazing how much you can eat.:)
Excellent Barney!:T
thank you I've lost just over two stone with lighter life earlier this year and still have a few weeks packs left which I'm going to use up then I'm re-joining slimming world, I do like it but as I work shifts I struggle to make groupsget rid of all the pounds by summer !!

I knew these dark evenings were going to be a godsend for me in the quest of drinking less! I am in pyjamas and it is cold and dark outside so there is no way I am going to the shops to get wine!
Please could you count tonight as 1/15 of a, hopefully, less boozey month, thanks Shaggy xx0 -
