Fruball (or may I call you Fru? :D) - don't feel you've let yourself down - that's one third of a month you didn't drink.
    . :A

It's all relative fru, I'm pleased because I beat my target but then it was only 10 to begin with.;)

The wonderful Shaggy beat her target too!!:T:T

Hiya everyone, and big hello all newbies!!!:D (wish I could make my smileys interesting like Shaggy's :( anyway counted up and my grand total for september including tonight will be 18!! missed my target but still not bad :)

new target for October is going to be 14!! because I like to get the extra smileys when I over achieve!! ha!! need to loose some more weight for the Christmas party's that have started being organised so that's my next challenge, cutting back on the booze tends to help!
    :o

And you managed 18 which is way over mine and fru's.:T

Totally agree on the weightloss. I started cutting down on here before tackling Slimming World. There's no way I'd have coped with that and carried on drinking at the same rate. I'm a huge SW convert, the only 'diet' I've ever tried. Take a look at the 7 day sample menu. It's amazing how much you can eat.:)

I'm on SW too! I love the plan and just two things ruin my losses and those things are wine and poor planning. Which bottles (lol) down to wine really because, if I didn't drink wine, I would spend more time planning and preparing!!! I have joined a challenge to lose 1st in October which is only achievable IF I massively cut down on the wine.

  • Well done everyone however well you did or think you didn't do, every little helps!!

We didn't manage Sunday, didn't go mad though so quite happy with our 14days this month, inc tonight.

We will aim for 15 for October
as we are going away for a few days mid month

Also a SW convert, my syns always went in beer. Now just maintaining but it is the best way to loose weight, i would recommend to anyone.
  • 15AF please Shaggy, and I'll aim for 15 in October :)

NTC aka BAILEY - hey, hello!

MAMAN how do you find these old posts??! and there was gien & pricey all on the same page; and you! Ho hum, never ending battle, eh?

Hmm, October target? My aim is to improve on September's AFDs (erm, one :o)
OK, be serious - my aim is to drink less each day rather than notch up AFDs but - EVEN SO - I'll go for 8. A low score compared with most of you but 2 days a week beats one a month ;)

Shaggy you've been doing the scoring FOREVER! I did it one month & hated the pressure so a huge :smileyhea:kisses3:(is this too much?) to you! x

    Cheddar of the day:

Woman to man: "Thanks for not treating me like a doormat"

    Man: "You're welcome"

    :rotfl::rotfl:

*note to self* don't laugh at your own jokes.

    Happy Monday. wb xx

heyyyy matey you're dead right its not an easy thing to get a grip of for some of us but every bit is positive eh :T

So i am back wanting again to take back a little bit of control. I have let it all go pretty much since the work I did back as NTC and that is disappointing but i do know I can be a stubborn bird so I will do it again. Since I last spoke I have had major upheavals in my work life which is just about calming down again and also a couple of shock health problems that for Captain Invincible (or so I thought) was not the best of news. All said and done the drink became the answer which of course it never is. Now I am in a position where if I do not do something about this soon it will start to become a problem of its own .........so its back on track for me but it may take me a while to get back to the number of days I was achieving way back then.

For now my goal is join the community again, get inspired again and start on the right road.

Looking forward to chatting with new and old "friends" knowing we are all after the same end point.

Sorry for the waffle and I will be back to the usual dry wit and raised eyebrows stuff tomorrow

Target for now then...........post on here and cut down

15/25, so woefully short of my target this month. Still, it's a new year tomorrow (that's not a typo, it's the start of the new financial year in my organisation), and a new month. Going to try for 25 again in October. It'll be just as hard, as there are 5 family birthdays in the month, one of which is my brothers - and the only gift he wants is health.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Hi Joanne - shall I put you on the monthly challenge for 9??

Sorry hun - put me for 9 I managed 8!

There's no point in having a target if it isn't s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g

Be a sweetie and pop me in for 20 for October. I'm 50 on 29th - who knows what November will bring as I enter my 6th decade:j:j
