Am generally trying to reduce impact by going to lower alcohol content wines these days. Recently tried Marks' Le Petit Froglet Sauvignon 9.5% (modelled after their Froglet Savignon @ 11.5%) No noticeable difference in taste, and I'll take the calorie reduction that comes with the lower content too!
Mr T's sells a Weight Watchers white, @ 8.5%. Very sweet, needs to be watered down with some fizzy water, but then becomes pleasant enough.

Thanks for coming out of 'lurking' mode - that M & S wine sounds very interesting :T
Like you, I find most non-alcoholic (or reduced) wines far too sweet - you would think that by now someone would have produced a nice 'dry' one - maybe there is a gap in the market!0 -
19/26 AFDs this month.0

14/25 AFDs for me. Ate too many sweets today, boo. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

I came across 'fake Pimms' a few weeks ago (must have been a hot sunny day!). It's just lemonade with a touch of balsamic vinegar. Add any favourite fruit that you'd normally have with it too. It's as good as (if not better than) the real stuff, but obviously alcohol free! And cheaper... so it gets lot of thumbs up!
Not sure if you could get away with it on a night out though... "Bar man! Hit me with a lemonade and a balsamic vinegar chaser"
Anyway... hitting the hay with 4/4 for the SNC and 6/20 for the AFD0 -
I did have a drink yesterday. I had planned it as I was out for lunch. What was disappointing was that I had fizzy water with my lunch and then drank in the evening 'because I could'. I did enjoy it though, nice relaxing evening with DH.
Back on the wagon today.
10 AFDs for August and 2 for the SNC please.
That means I'm at target and any more days will be a bonus!0 -

I must give that a try figtree - it sounds very interesting - agree with you about ordering at a pub though :rotfl:I did have a drink yesterday. I had planned it as I was out for lunch. Well done Maman - I am not sure I will reach my target for August, especially with a bank holiday weekend coming up, but you never know
So far 10/15 AFD and 3/3 for the SNC - still, not too bad for my first month0
