I must give that a try figtree - it sounds very interesting - agree with you about ordering at a pub though :rotfl:

Well done Maman - I am not sure I will reach my target for August, especially with a bank holiday weekend coming up, but you never know ;)

So far 10/15 AFD and 3/3 for the SNC - still, not too bad for my first month :)

You're doing really well. You and I are on exactly the same achievements for the month/week sukey. It's just that I set my target lower!:o:rotfl:
I try to limit myself to 3 bottles a week which may be excessive to some but for me is about a third of where I've come from.

You have done so well cutting back that much Maman - congratulations :j

I think I might have been a bit ambitious with a target of 15 for a first attempt - although 15 days out of 31 doesn't sound unachieveable until you try to do it :o.

I used to share a bottle of wine with my OH on at least 5 nights a week before and then also have a couple of drinks if we went out at the weekend so I have definitely cut down from that - we now share a bottle on 2 nights (Fri-Sat) but I still have the couple when we go out and maybe an odd glass of wine in the pub if I meet up with friends.

15/25 AFDs - I've just worked out that I can't make my target of 25. Note to self -- that doesn't mean you can give up giving up, okay!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I almost succumbed TWICE today! BIL came for lunch unexpectedly but fortunately refused a glass of wine, so I didn't need to join him. Then almost celebrated DGD's GCSE results but can feel happy for her without a drink. We'll celebrate properly another day.

11 AFDs and 3 for the SNC please.

Welcome to Figtree's world! 7/20 AFD so far for me...

On the plus side, tonight marked 5/4 for the SNC.
