Please can you put me down for another AF day, Shaggy - total 5/12

I am not going to do the SNC until the kids go back to school as I am not working now until sept and am on hols soon.

Well done to everyone who managed to hit their SNC targets :)

I failed last night and almost failed tonight but the wine remains unopened in the fridge :T

I never thought I would say this but I am actually glad to see the evenings getting darker  I love summer and wish it were light all year round BUT... for the purposes of cutting down alcohol, it is much easier to go to bed early when it is dark outside!

I am going to have a cup of Pukka sleep tea and tell myself it is much later than it is!

    Nite all :)

14/25 AFDs. I'm minding my granddaughter for the day tomorrow, something I haven't been able to do as I live 180 miles away - so I'm making the most of the time I'm staying with my mum who lives just 5 miles away!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Thanks gien :)

As I'm retiring to bed I'll declare 3/4 for the SNC and 5/20 for the AFD

Had a really awful night's sleep last night. Went to bed at 10pm and was still awake at 1am :-( Not sure if it's do to with cutting down alcohol, but I was certainly glad that I hadn't had a drink when I woke up this morning still feeling shattered!

    I claim 3 More AFDs.

I also wish to rant - how the h**l am I supposed to stay sober when my husband gets sued - and he actually did the thing he's being sued for!

Weirdly, just ranting about that made me feel better (I can touch-type so ranting via a keyboard works for me :))

what I need is someone to make an alcohol-free version of Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio :T

I have a few friends who do not drink due to religious reasons. There are a few alcohol-free wines out there. I find them quite sweet.

Am generally trying to reduce impact by going to lower alcohol content wines these days. Recently tried Marks' Le Petit Froglet Sauvignon 9.5% (modelled after their Froglet Savignon @ 11.5%) No noticeable difference in taste, and I'll take the calorie reduction that comes with the lower content too!

Mr T's sells a Weight Watchers white, @ 8.5%. Very sweet, needs to be watered down with some fizzy water, but then becomes pleasant enough.
