    Thanks very much safely aboard.

I've left my purse at home today - I like not having my money on me, I can't spend it:j

I must leave my purse at home more often

8 AF days including tonight. I am declaring early as the lovely bottle of beaujolais I have in the kitchen is screaming so very loudly that if I don't declare early I am going to give in. Have rung a friend, chopped umpteen vegies for roasting, cleared up some clothes and come on here, all on the name of distraction! Somehow putting distance between myself and my rouge-coloured love isn't working. I can still hear its delicate tones! AAArrrghhh! (fingers in ears, LaLaLaing loudly)

I am rubbish at keeping count of my days but I think I can declare 3SNC days too. Another tomorrow and that will be a full set but I am planning a drink on Friday night. (Hurry up)

Congratulations to all who are finding their way to peace and tranquility (no loud voices calling) and can relax around the drink. I am definitely not there yet.

joanne109 - I have sympathy with your tumble off the wagon. have fallen many a time myself, with a resounding thud! Get back on that wagon girl and keep on rolling along. Reread 41s words, they are truly helpful.

Kind regards to all and sundry, (did I say sun? Where?)

Hi all, 4 AFDs for me please, not been on in a while been hectic with uni and work.

Had weekend at mum's, which was ok but usual feelings of suffocation as my mum constantly asks about whether we want more drink or food. I did have a glass of wine and one alcopop whilst I was there. I thought that was good considering all I wanted to do was drink to just not 'be there'.

A part of me wonders if I should ever touched alcohol again because now I have these battles again, but I haven't had any alcohol since the weekend and don't feel like it.

I think the sunshine was a nice excuse to sit out in the garden and have some alcohol, and I don't think I should deny myself that as it was nice. Now that the weather has gone grey I have no desire for it!

I think my relationship with alcohol is 'better' than it was, but still working at it :)

Hope others are getting on ok. I don't have time to read all the posts as I am snowed under with essays. Keep well everyone :) xx
