1 more AF day so 13 please Shaggy
and 1 more for the SNC Mackeroo.
Hope you are all ok.
Had a very wobbly moment this afternoon after a long meeting when someone said we all need a large G&T tonight. Made me think yes I really do. Didn't really and wanted to complete the SNC but was surprised at what a powerful urge it was. Thought I'd silenced the weekday urges but it seems not!

Hi all, managed to finally catch up on this thread, wow its been so busy.
I've had a hectic few days but still been reading, just been able to reply.
Lots of big hugs to those facing challenging times, not just in an AF way, just everything way.
Lots of positive stuff around, its making great reading and people are being so honest, its inspiring and motivating to read. Thank you.
Thank you to Shaggy and Mackeroo for all you lovelies doooooo...
Anyway my scores on the doors are 21/18, I completed last weeks SNC and I'm am regularly committing to the full monty each week. Please can you take that as a given, as I don't always get there in time. So far its 2/4 for this week.
My Feb target is 20 SNC please, a 2 day increase, should be doable.
I have found myself not actually wanting alcohol at times, i've been realising my thoughts are in the habit of thinking shall I have a drink, but on reflection I actually don't. Its not all the time but some of the time, so things are changing. I am achieving what I set out too. I wanted to cut down and not miss it and that is happening. Old habits and thoughts are being replaced by new.
This thread is definitely helping and keeping me on track. Thank you.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
AF 29/31
Work is very busy at the moment, but looking forward to going out on Friday night. Hoping I can control my drinking. This will be one of my 2 drinking days For the month.
Not sure if I want that hung over feeling in the morning or going to bed feeling sick because I have had too many. I am having a few headaches at the moment but thinks its the stress at work.
Have a good tomorrow everyone.

No more AF days to add - we had a friend stay over and I had a drink with them - nothing excessive, just wine with dinner - had a poor nights sleep though which just shows how quickly you get used to not having alcohol.
Will be super good for the rest of week because I want to hit my target!
For February I'm going to say 20 again please ShaggyTrying to keep in budget.
