Still on 11/20 but checking in on everyone!
Hope you are all doing ok. Had some planned wine this evening. Enjoyed it. We decided to buy to buy less wine, but better quality/bit more expensive, and to savour it... Still MSE given how much we used to spend on drink every day.....Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

Day 16/29 for me today.0

15/31 AFDs for me. Wine bells rang at 5pm as I was starting the prepare dinner, which is my danger time. I had some fizzy water, and dried fruit, and fought the temptation off.
Today's the seventh of my thirty 5k's in 2013 was in icy rain that felt like needles against my face (the only bit of me not covered). I kept myself going by chanting "For children, for change, for good" which is the strap-line for World Vision UK. Puddle-dodging adds extra steps! What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Well done Satchmo1 for not listening to those bells. Making dinner is always a danger time for me too.
Another AF day for me yesterday so now at 5AF - never thought I'd manage an AF Saturday. Chose to be the driver last night but sneakily thought I'd have a drink when we got home. Got home at 9.30, kids went to bed and I thought "actually there's only an hour til bed time I don't think I'll bother"
So here I am before 8am on a Sunday morning bright eyed and bushy tailed wondering what mischief I can get up today! :j
Have a good Sunday people0 -
Wishing this for you all on St Patrick's Day, and beyond. In case you can't see the picture it says... "Wishing you a pocket heavy and a heart that's light, and may good luck pursue you each day".
Thanks, Sophie. Glad you resisted too, well done. Sunday morning's look very different now. I now go to church and don't have to pray for the strength to stop drinking, whilst knowing I'll start again come the evening. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
16 AF days to declare. Happy St Patrick's Day everyone.
Forgot to say other day I had a drinking dream, I was absolutely bladdered and a nightmare to everyone around me, I said some awful things, imagine my relief when I woke up to realise it was just a dream.
On a lighter note, we slaughtered England yesterday in the rugby by 27 points.
