Morning all,
I hope you all had a good weekend? No AFD's for me this weekend but am aiming for at least four this week.
Have a good day x0 -
 Fell off the wagon big time yesterday and am really cross with myself this morning. The wine was planned - the quantity consumed wasn't and I think that it was at least a bottle of wine (note the "I think" and that's why I'm fed up with myself this morning.)
But I am determined to have at least 4AFs this week and get that great feeling back that I had last week.
Have a good day everybody0 -
managed to be AF over the weekend, I find Friday and Saturday tea time a struggle sometimes, but getting easier. So i'm claiming 17 afd's and I'm sneaking up on that Easter bunny.0

I think holding on to the feeling of how great it is to wake up feeling wonderful in the mornings is part of the key to not overdoing it, or sustaining AFness when you're so tempted.
I do try but dont always get there! But I know that on Saturday, OH and I shared our planned bottle of wine and once it's finished I get the do I/dont I wavering.... In the past I would just open up another bottle without thinking and we would drink that too (and often, more, after that, beer or port or whatever...). Now, when I get that wavering feeling I do something (start the washing up and put the kettle on for a cup of tea) focus on looking forward to waking up feeling good, as opposed to feeling rubbish....
I dont imagine it's foolproof but so far it's helping!
Have a good day everyone! Planning an AFD today...Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

You and me both SophietbI had wine Friday & Saturday, wasn't planning any last night, but had a big massive row with DH (we never argue) which led me driving straight to the supermarket, so annoyed with myself but its done now. I think when I declared my March AFD's I was bit over-ambitious, going from 7 nights until just one, who was I kidding?
I did manage 3/7 AFD's last week so need to focus on that, normally I would be drinking every night.
I don't plan to drink now until Friday, I will have soda water/lime tomorrow night instead of my Tuesday treat.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Afternoon :hello:
Had a couple of nights away - it was a great break even if the weather was a bit rubbish. Back on the wagon tonight.
