Hi there,
I'm pretty new around these parts, but not new to debts and leaving home. As my Mum likes to point out, I've left home three times! (long story)
Leaving home is always more expensive than you think it's going to be, and it might be wise to get the debt down, and get your emergency fund up before saving for the move. If your boyf is aware of your financial situation, I'd have thought he'd understand that you maybe can't afford the move right now?
Just something to think about, but when you're calculating everything for the new place, don't forget any of the bills, and all the other little expenses - I'm currently saving for a new mattress.
I hope I don't sound bossy, but all my debts arose from leaving home impulsively, and everyone who mentions leaving home gets the same lecture!

Thanks Verbatim.
Thanks Mrs. Irwin, yes I know what you mean. Boyf has already seen my budget and has suggested that he pay more to the rent/bills so that's a great help to me. We're going to furnich the house as much as possible from Freecycle initially then replace things as we go (via xmas pressies etc!)
I think it's all manageable - I'm just tired at the mo due to workbut have a long weekend in Wales weekend after next to look forward to and as boyf's Dad has gone to France we will have a relaxing weekend just the two of us this weekend too!

Hope you're okay, hang in there. What hours do you do at work? You always seem REALLY busy!

At the moment I'm doing 8am til 6pm split between the two jobs as I'm being torn between two managers!
I'm restricted to those hours as I can't get in before 8 or out after 6! If I ask for a key (which I could but trying to resist) I would work from 7.30 til about 7. I wouldn't do anymore than that as I have too much to at home!0 -
gosh, you are busy! Make sure you're getting enough rest and some "me" some as well.

I do tend to have vegging evenings but I don't feel it really relaxes me - just that I'm wasting time! I only feel 'away from it all' when I go to my boyf's in the Cotswolds - hence I look forward to weekends!
I just have to keep looking forward to things!0 -
On a lighter 'non-money' note I think I'm finally free of anti-depressants! been on them 21 months and have been weaning myself off for the last few. Was meant to take one Sunday (every four days) but felt ok (I usually got down the last night before the next one) so I've stopped them.
Will just see how I go but it's nice to think I'm free!

Still off the AD's even though things went pear-shaped at work on Wednesday!
I got paid more than I thought this month so things are looking not too stretched though some may be clawed back next payday due to something to do with the tax.
I've opened a Nationwide current acc so I can put aside some money in there to make up for the defecit in pay next month and so that I can use cashpoints in France in July without charge! :j
Bought slave cylinder for clutch from eBay for a bargain £30 (it is new!) so boyf will have a look at that this weekend if it stays dry.
Found out my cousin has just opened a B&B in France and he will give us Friends and Family rates so that's a night or two more sorted for July! :T God bless family! (If you need a lovely B&B in central france let me know)
So how's everyone today? After the hailstone and storms yesterday it's bright blue sunshine! Might even buy a bottle of 'on sale' wine to celebrate with boyf tonight and truly relax! :j
