Thanks tpurch will have a look! Very kind of you! I've been told £285's not bad for a Focus so if there's not a Mr Clutch then I'll go with this.

Right, well I've got £150 in £2 coins which is a start and I've put enough away in my savings to give me a breather if I'm out of work for a week, so if I'm careful I may have £100 left over from next weeks wages which will almost get me to clutch money! :j

Sadly no MrClutchs' in the entire West Midlands!

How are you doing today Catt?
    SF :heartpuls

Hi, SF not bad thanks. Not doing well coming of the Anti-Depressant's :( which doesn't help as I just feel like saying 'ah, sod it' and spending lots!

Joined a book swapping club, so although my piles aren't going down it means I have lots of new books for my holidays and for information even though I'm struggling to sell them on Green Metropolis or Ebay!! :T

Having dinner with my darling boyf tonight who has some more dates of car runs (1932 Alvis or 1924 Rhode) through the summer which means NSDs for me and nice sun tans!! :T

    Hows you?

Book swapping club? I should join one of those - I get through books SO fast! I'm alright, just practising for my conducting exam and trying not to panic too much. Hope you have a nice dinner tonight :)

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I have to tell someone!

Just been called in to see one of my bosses - Head of HR - and she mentioned that a manager of another department has approached her to ask me to help out in his department after the girl I'm temping for starts on 14th May.

Well wasn't too sure as I know the girls in that department take home £3k less than I do and it's a basic admin job - something I did 3 or 4 years ago but I wanted something more on my next move up the ladder. Anyway, turns out they want me to be a Supervisor!!! My first 'man management' position!

The wages will stay the same (but that's ok as it's £2k more than I was earning before Xmas anyway) and it will give me experience I don't yet have which can only help my application to Australia (if me and darling boyf decide to go!) or even just in the future.

This is such good news as it will mean a continuation in salary too!!!! Should be able to save £100 a week if I'm really careful! :j

Got to wait until Head Honcho says yes, but keep everything crossed for me!!!!

    Up we go!!! :j

Well I got to the Motor Factors on Saturday morning - and got charged £6 ex VAT instead of the £14 I was quoted for the fan belt! Bargain!

Boyf didn't have time to fit it at the weekend but it can wait! Also felt sorry for me and will arrange a free weekend so that he can fit my clutch - I will pay him (in kind maybe? ;) ) for it - but it'll still save me money! :T

Been suffering last two days - came down with a cold yesterday but was running a temperature at 3am this morning and thinking my sinuses were going to explode. Still made it to work (I'm a temp so don't get paid unless I turn up!) so I'm happy!

    How's everyone?

    C xx
