I've got the small (uk 10-12) black jacket and am a size 10, and there is still plenty of room in the jacket, I find their sizes to be slightly bigger and boy is it a windproof jacket - I've got to say I love Lands End jackets in the sale as I've got quite a few of their outer wear items. Gonna get myself some snow booties in my fave colour purple - woo hoo! My hubby has the male snow boots and he said his feet have never been so warm when wearing them - yee haa!!!:j

I went for the 14-16 but after reading your helpful reply was going to order a 10-12 as well. However, they have now gone up to £30 :(. Oh well, will just have to polish off the last of the mince pies and maybe then it will fit better!

Mmm, the boots I wanted are up to nearly £40 now, darn it!
  • Their stuff is excellent quality and customer service is second to none (they tie with Lakeland for first place!).

If you need to return stuff, do it via MyHermes (https://www.myhermes.co.uk and click 'Returns User' button) and you can send a 15kg parcel for £3 (collected from you) or £2.70 Parcel Shop drop-off. No time limit on when you return.

The toggle shoes are great....very comfy BUT the soles fall off! I'm on my second pair. The first pair lasted just over a year when suddenly the back of the soles unglued and they were flapping around on me. I bought a second pair and those only lasted about 4 months and one of the soles did exactly the same as the first pair. I'm currently debating whether to send them back, but they aren't showing up on my order history online, or if I should just try supergluing the sole back on.

I gave in and ordered as thought would be great for the allotment at £14.50, confirmed it at that price only to receive an order update this morning for £30.00, not happy so have complained.

Oh no! I ordered a jacket last night and haven't had proper confirmation of items/billing yet. Why are these bargains always too good to be true and end up being hassle??!!

I know, waiting to hear back from them, wouldn't have ordered at £30.. did you notice the first order confirmation email at point of order didn't have a price on..
  • Same happened to me - I ordered snowboots at about 1.30 this morning and saved the screen grab then got the confirmation email about 8.30 for 3 times the amount! I phoned them and the customer services lady I spoke to was quite rude and told me I must have bought them at the higher price as it was past midnight!

Anyway, the upshot was that they are honouring the lower price and will refund the difference onto my credit card tomorrow. Blinking cheek if you ask me. Not bought from them before, not sure if I will again. Phone them up and tell them is my advice.

Oh, and thank you to the OP.

I'm with geordie_lass...you know you want them!!! And just think how toasty your feet will be in the RIGHT boots :T

    Lx

P.S. Which colour have you gone for?

Although I put them in my basket (these http://www.landsend.co.uk/on/demandware.store/Sites-LandsEndUK-Site/en_GB/Cart-Show ) I resisted. I'm so proud of myself :j:( *pat myself sadly on the back* - and I'm no longer tempted now the price has gone up, more so since K1ttycat says the sole comes away! BTW K1ttycat, I'd send them back! OK, bigger wellies, thicker socks here I come!
I treat my boots like some people treat their men.
    :rotfl:Love it!
