Oooooh...are you going on a Hurtigruten cruise? We are doing the Bergen to Tromso one on 5th March. Fingers X'd that the Aurora Borealis puts in an appearance.

Thanks OP - I'm really tempted as my wellies aren't warm enough and my warm boots haven't got enough grip But I must resist - I really have way too many pairs of boots How come the shoes/boots you already have are never quite the right pair?!

Hahaha - that is so true. My latest pair are always 'the ones' for about a fortnight then I start finding fault and see another pair that might be that bit better. I treat my boots like some people treat their men.

I love Lands End, I only heard of them because they were on here some time before Christmas and had 25% off everything, even their outlet stuff. I managed to get an essentials down parka for just over £30 and it's been amazing, even in this snow I've not been able to wear a jumper or a cardigan underneath it because it's so warm. My mum has been well kitted out in their sales, two pairs of clogs, two pairs of boots, jackets, cardigans.. she's been thrilled with the quality too. It's worth getting their newsletter because some of the discounts aren't publicly advertised on the website, they do send out quite a few of them though.
