Anyway...you dont need ID for Noddle, just your full name, date of birth, previous addresses.

How did you open your first account then?

this is a wind up because the Co-Op specifically list a HMRC Tax Notification as the only form of primary ID they require for a basic account.

    See here : http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/basic-bank-accounts

All the OP has to do is go into a branch in person with this information. They will open it.

    hi revthoery

with many bank products, there is often an appeal process against a declined decision, whereby you can get a real live person to look at the application, instead of the computer coming up with the negative. they often don't tell you about it unless you ask though.

if you appeal, it often flags up some kind of technical glitch like part of the address or name being spelled wrong on their search databases, or incorrect link up to the electoral roll. I used to work closely with a credit approvals team who could often override a simple glitch that a computer couldn't.

    good luck with it.

then ask someone to help you, catch a bus, walk or do something. You have been given plenty of advice but you have to choose to follow it. Whinging that it isnt fair or that you cant do something and should kill yourself is unlikely to get the result you want.

Almost all the banks stipulate the same criteria for their BASIC accounts, but you have to go into a branch. I suggest you get yourself to a highstreet and sit down face to face with an advisor. Nothing else will work, you clearly cant use the automated procedures.

    Your choice.
