Hope you had a nice time with your parents :)

Gosh you have been busy about the house! You've got loads done though! All sounds good. Do we need our sunnies when we come visit?

:j to the promotion, albeit unpaid :p Will always look good on your CV if/when you ever leave!!
She also applies her 'roll onto the tummy and scoot scoot scoot backwards until you fall off the end' policy to my bed. This was fine until she lost her way scooting a bit and ended up entirely wedged into the metal frame at the end of the bed, having scooted back until she was wedged between the bars! :rotfl::rotfl:

    :eek::rotfl:

Yay to the credit score! Looking goooood! ;)
HAW I see your message & will reply in due course. Sending uber hugs and fictitious cookies in the meantime!!!

I'm fictitiously eating the fictitious cookies as I type: they are fictitiously tasty :D

Tell us about Wingham Wildlife Park please :D

PS. Your initial naughtiness has been forgiven, but only because the fictitious cookies taste so fictitiously good! :D

Oh HAW I am SO glad you enjoyed the fictitious cookies! They are super easy to make & yet so delicious :)

I was meant to be logging on here all weekend to do things, catch up with threads & reply to messages etc. I have done some of this but not nearly all that I wanted to do :/

Wingham Wildlife park! Ok... we went there with my parents and Jellytot! First trip to a real proper(ish) zoo environment. We have been to a glorified petting zoo but that is all. Jellytot LOVED it. She stomped over trippy trappy bridges with me, pointed out guillemots and giant carp and LOVED the pygmy african goats so much she tried to dive in with them headfirst several times! She had a good old staring contest with a wallaby (she won, he hopped off!) and was a little superstar watching the tigers and lions and penguins! I got a million brilliant pics of her. Her favourite part of the day was of course the baby swing... :rotfl::rotfl:

Things to update you on... I took £100 out of the bank yesterday (supposedly) guilt free for a hen do. I went to a burlesque bar 40 miles away and spent £40 on the food & entertainment. £14 on drinks and £9 on the taxi, got a free lift home which meant I left earlier but saved me money on drinks too! So I came home with over £25.. a lot of it in change, so have dumped £14 of change from my overflowing purse into my tin & have a £20 note left over!! Woop!! And, more importantly, the night was AMAZING!

Just got myself 25 tesco clubcard points for pledging to do what I already do & recycle bottles... :rotfl: if you want free points help yourself ;)

Also whilst on the tesco gig, go to www.tescoviews.com and enter the 4 digit store number of your local tesco... (to find this google 'Tesco & name of your town) and then look at the search results, each tesco hit has a 4 digit code at the end of the web address!) - do yourself a 5 minute survey on a trip, fictitious or otherwise to the store & earn 25 points there too! Not sure how often you can do it, but I have done it for both my local stores on the same day (express & superstore) and gotten both sets of points. They credit after a looooooooooong time, so just think of them as xmas savings ;)

Right, on that bombshell, it was time to go to bed an hour and a half ago :/

Back tomorrow after jellytots jabs and in law visit for a nice chilled afternoon hopefully!:T

    Happy July!! :D

I don't usually come on to MSE at all over the weekends. I just do that whilst I'm at wo...!! :o;)

The Wildlife park does sound fab! Glad Jellytot enjoyed herself! Can I make a suggestion for the bundle of photos? Photobox (or Snapfish) to make a photobook of her 'Trip to the zoo'. I made a small one for my friend after I went to visit her and the new baby a few years ago. It's about credit card size. I called it 'Xxx meets Auntie HAW'. Just a wee keepsake to look back on in years to come. And also a fun way of learning about different animals too :)

The hen night sounds fab!! :D So pleased you had a ball. Did you get to try any of the burlesque stuff out?? You did good with your money too :) I'm proud of you lilt :D

Will have a look at the Tesco links you've put on - thank you!

Hope jabs and visits go well :)

Hahaha!! Happy July to you too my lovely! :T:T Can you believe we are already halfway through this year?

I nearly fell over when last weeks MSE email advised me to start putting a bit of money away for Christmas as there are ONLY 6 months. I am all for getting into the spirit but something in me just wants to hide when people mention it at this point in the year... Ironic really considering my own signature has a savings pot for Xmas included in it....!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Oooh! Do you know I actually have a photobook my mum sent me which is just blank pages you have to glue your photos to. It has a lovely picture of Jellytot on the front but I have just not got around to doing anything with it! Still, my 8000 photos might strain it's 30 pages a little...

I am determined to have a decent photographic record of her for when she is all grown up. I've practically got a video stream of her life! hahaha!

I have been a naughty spendy little thing the last couple of days so I am reining myself in a LOT. I must not go to the supermarket or local shops and spend on things I do not need!

I don't care if it is a bargain, for the next 6 months I need to put away as much money as humanly possible & I am not being very good!

I accidentally forgot to pick up my slow cooker from Sainsbugs click and collect and now it has gone back to the slow cooker home in the sky. I need to reorder it and actually pick it up again!

Do you think it is a good idea to go into the Halifax on Saturday morning and open a current account for the £100 plus £5? I can't do it online as I do not want to switch it as a whole.. I only just opened a FD current account a couple of months ago! If I go into the branch I can select just 2 DD's to switch & that will be enough to earn the bonuses etc.

I shouldn't turn down free money if I can get it & my credit history is nigh on perfect at the moment...

Suppose I should get myself back to work. Having a horrid week :( going home to my two pickles makes life better... Jellytot reacted badly to her jabs and is only just recovering properly. She was so hot it was frightening, spent all day and night in just a short sleeved babygrow in our usually frigid flat & was still too hot :( all better now though!!:D:D

    Right, off I pop.
    Back later!!

Crimbo will be here and over before you know it
One extra to buy for this year coz sister is due in the next week! But otherwise, once again, I'll be keeping costs down - savings or no savings!!

Yeah you might have bother fitting 8000 pics into a 30 page album :o I kinda miss actually printing photos out! We've a lovely empty photo frame in our bedroom, still waiting on a pic of me and OH!! Digital has taken over! :p Keep meaning to go through all my pics from the last few years, pick out my favs, and just put those ones into a wee album for myself. Will get around to it someday....

From what I remember, when transferring my current account to FD, I got a list of DDs from them to confirm all details, and I just scored out the ones I didn't want transferred. I imagine you can do the same with H too. Might be handier to call into branch though. £100 offer ends on Sunday if I remember right!!

Hope jellytot is feeling better now :)

I feel the fact that I have a paperclip stuck in my hair sums up precisely how today is going to go. So far I've not been wrong in my prediction. Hurry up 5pm!

Oh dear!! Not a good start!! :p

OH didn't really rouse when the alarm went off this morning, so I left it for about 5 mins, then said to him 'Are you not getting up?'. He asked 'What for?'. Ummmmmm.... 'Work?! It's Friday!' Poor guy thought it was Saturday! :(:rotfl:
