Hahah it's my place of jabber away from facebook ;) I shall continue; it is a cathartic experience!

How are you feeling Missy? Any better after handing in that lovely note at work?

I did one better on Mr T. Called to complain that my broccoli was 80% stalk and the head had a giant piece dangling off which was dead. Oh and the 520g bag of spinach I ordered arrived & was 450g. How do they even advertise something that doesn't apparently exist in their store? I paid the same price as advertised for 520g though so they refunded both of those AND the £6 delivery charge ( when they reschedule they re-charge you whatever delivery your chosen next day delivery spot costs !!!!!!?!?!) because I kicked up a stink about the no-show. £9.56 off a £41 shop. Win.

Cripes at the stuff to bootfair. Let me know if you are doing one because I may come along! Put a couple of pairs of brand new shoes & my boxing gloves & pads on a facebook selling group & got zip!

Haha, i do love the diaries! A chance for people to vent without others knowing much about them :)

As for the note, i feel alot better, although that might be the tablets too :rotfl:. Either way i plan on relaxing and taking it easy for the rest of the week and a half i have left!

You make mr T sound like such a hoohar! lol. Feel sorry for you =/ not good at all. Good job on complaining though - did you hear about my response from wetherspoons? A poor service for my dad's and ken's birthday brekkie results in a free meal for upto 8 people. Needless to say we found extra friends to take us up to 8 ;) Also i shall be ordering steak for the sheer shake of it. Even though i won't eat it, someone else will. It's free afterall! :rotfl:

I'll give you a heads up, i'm keeping my ear out. There was one at my primary school which was just kids stuff and it was brilliant. Hoping when/if they do another i can get in :)

Also, now you have all that lovely cupboard space have you seen the bright boxes in poundland?! Orange, green and blue smallish boxes. Same style as the black ones with lids they had, but better quality. I got 1 green one for James' room but planning on getting another at least. Great value for £1!

Anyway, sorry for hijacking your diary ;) Hope your all okay and have a chilled day tomo! xx

Yup! I'd say you're addicted to MSE!! ;)
Haw it is not a problem hijacking my thread. Have just been reading yours (yep, that was the one on my phone!! ;)) & have to say am intrigued about your opinion of things with your OH. Is there a bit of a double standard in your relationship? Does his lack of trust.. and yours(?) stem from something in the past? Feel free to PM me the response to that. I love a good natter :j

I'll send you a PM today. Think I should probably get a little bit of work done first! :rotfl:

Good for you for the savings etc! I'm 10 months into my First Direct Regular Saver - see my signature! ;) I've found it tough some months but I'm determined to hit the full target!!! :D I've honestly never had this amount of MY money before in my life!! party0049.gif to wetherspoons! Steaks all round for sure! And puddings! And bring doggy bags with you too! ;)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:*opens foot & inserts mouth* Lucky I didn't mean that the way it sounds. I love a good veggie meal, I just tease vic.star because she is the worst eater I have ever ever ever known in my life! We went to wetherspoons for lunch a couple of weeks ago & she ordered.... garlic bread & chips. Because those are the ONLY things she eats!!!!!!No noodles, no vegetables, just... nothing. She is terrible! I may grill you for recipes to do with the giant bag of lentils I just bought from the whoopsie aisle in Mr A's :D

HAW well done on the saver! I wondered if it was the same one I was thinking of getting in your sig! I am pretty confident in our household currently we can easily manage £300. Embarrassed to say that we get far too many tax credits! It's based on last year when I spent 9 months on maternity leave! They give you statutory maternity pay of £137... and then promptly take off £100 of that for tax credits purposes. So you look like you're effectively earning £37 a week. Still, I got a pay rise in April at work & gave them the details so from April 2014 our income from tax creds will drop by £150 every 4 weeks. We never expanded our outgoings to meet the incomings & thank god for that or we would be in dire straits. Quite the opposite, the more we earn the more miserly we become really. :rotfl:I am hoping we will have over £5k saved by the time the tax credits drop.

Had to go to Mr A's and buy jellytot some nappies today. Gutted to see that the long-running 2 for £20 has disappeared so had to pay £11 for a box. With that in mind I downsized from 4+ to 4... She's nowhere near the maximum weight for 4's so I'm not sure why we have been buying the 4+ anyway... but there are 78 in the 4 and only 70 in the 4+ boxes... so saved us a little bit :( sort of..

My in laws arrived around 20 past 11 today. DH is working until 2pm so they saw Jellytot do her walking thing & then I quickly fed her before shipping her out with them. I walked to town with them so that I could do above mentioned Mr A shop & managed to get Jelly to go to sleep with a warm bottle as she left the house & a dummy as soon as she finished it. She was asleep in seconds. This means they can take her out for as long as they feel like guilt free as normally I would have them back here to put her into bed at 1:30... She was yawning from 9am this morning though so I knew she was tired & thought I better instigate the pram nap or she would have been asleep sat upright in it & only slept for 20 minutes thus ruining afternoon nap also :) cross your fingers for a long-ish one so I dont have histrionics at tea time! Once DH finishes work I suspect they will all be back together. We have FIL's cards here, including a painted one made with Jellys fair hand and a stacking cup ;) Got him a present which was a photo frame from Wilko's with a beautiful pic of DH & Jelly together in the sunshine at the local park. :T

Off to make some biscuits quickly before they get back :)

HAW look forward to your PM :)

Hahahaha :P I'm not fussy, i'm just restricted in what foods i like ;)

Btw, tesco have some pampers reduced atm as they're changing the packaging. Hoping to go there tomo so i'll keep my eagle eyes out and let you know what i find!

On the subject of nappies....i've found the crystals from the nappies on James' bum at least 3 times in 2 weeks now. He's also leaked about 5 times too and they're giving you money back if your child leaks. Not happy though as it looks like he's got a burn on his bum from the nappies. Family friends warned us that the gel in the nappies is posionous and so isn't exactly safe for babies' bums. Especially seeing as they are meant to last 12hrs and he was in it for 3 and got gel all over him =/ Keep an eye out for Ellie please!

Back on subject... can't believe how well you're doing with the savings! I feel like i need to list off all my accounts on my sig now ;) Slowly stacking them up like you said. You'll have nothing to pay out for xmas i tell you now! lol xx

    Great! :D

Pressie for FIL sounds lovely :)

Nappies are soooo not cheap :( And  to the crystals. Particular make or just any/all??

Oh dear, naughty, naughty, naughty me!

I have been excessively absent from my MSE duties & have not even turned my laptop on in the last week and a half. Oops!

My parents came down last Tuesday & were here until Saturday evening & since then I have been rather run off my feet as well as creating little jobs for myself that weren't strictly necessary!

For instance, I have painted a small hallway that is between my kitchen/bathroom/living room area. It was a hella ugly stone colour with a hefty layer of grease and dirt accumulated from years of neglect. It's not a shining bright beacon of ultra whiteness! Just to do the gloss now... I also repainted some walls in the other corridor in my flat (aren't corridors a waste of space in a small flat....:rotfl:) to brighten them up & then glassed the skirting and architraves in there :)

Things to tell you before I get my bum back to work... I have been promoted again to incorporate 'Health & Safety Officer' into my list of job roles. Woohoo... what this actually means is writing an entire Health & Safety booklet for the office, incorporating policies for everything we will need & producing risk assessments & making people do self assessments on workstations etc. Joy... I don't even get a payrise!

Jellytot has learnt to climb onto and off the sofa in a relatively safe manner... Sometimes she attempts headfirst, but realises halfway down and swivels herself around to end up feet first... I get a bit of a shock at her climbing onto the sofa as it can be done when I am in the kitchen and I live in fear of a giant thump and a scream! She also applies her 'roll onto the tummy and scoot scoot scoot backwards until you fall off the end' policy to my bed. This was fine until she lost her way scooting a bit and ended up entirely wedged into the metal frame at the end of the bed, having scooted back until she was wedged between the bars! :rotfl::rotfl:

Have bought a £19.99 6.2ltr slow cooker from Sainsburys, so can remove that from my metaphorical list of things to buy! Thanks to vic.star for alerting me to the bargain!:T

I think I sent off my sun vouchers (free courtesy of mumma) in quick enough time to get £9.60 free redspottedhanky vouchers to add to the £15 vouchers I had already got from tesco perks! Will let you know on that one...

Have been doing a lot of baking, lots of those yummy biscuits. The only downside is that they have to be eaten quickly to be appreciated at their best and my waistline is starting to resemble that of my 6 months pregnant colleague...

I cancelled my creditexpert policy in favour of a £1.99 alerts system which will let me know if anything changes or there are any credit searches. I could do with this really :) My score (who cares but it makes me smile!) has finally gone up to the super useless 999, but everything is actually looking very health & it's all a sea of greens, settled's & satisfactorys so I don't think I should have any problems. I am using 4% of my allowed credit apparently... hehehe!

Right I better get back to work as of 9 minutes ago. I solemnly swear to be back on later on. HAW I see your message & will reply in due course. Sending uber hugs and fictitious cookies in the meantime!!!

Remind me to tell you about Wingham Wildlife Park :rotfl::D xx
