I'm in. Thanks for the list Natty.

Did the kitchen floor last so that's one job off the list.

More snow due here and wind has picked up. DD not wanting me to go to my vol job. Benefits me more going though. I'm warm, mobile and not using my heating when I'm there.

Skintbreeder Good luck. Will be thinking of you.
Bonnie Please leave there and get checked out. Can't believe they are not doing anything about.
Dance mum Hope your son finds a friend soon.

Hugs, sticks and spoons where needed.

Morning all. Thanks Natty for the list. I will try to keep up this week but have a different routine to normal as DH is off work with the exception of this morning...and

Ionafan: "DH has spent most of this weekend painting wargaming figures (English Civil War) so is a happy bunny "....

This is what my DH will be doing with his time off! I don't expect any help with flying.

Well we have a new layer of snow here today and its still snowing which is a pain in the rear end as I have to take SickDog to the vet today, even if its just to get painkillers for her.

Anyway, have a great day in the snow everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • I'm in again please - I didn't do so well last week! Had quick mad hour yesterday and tidied lounge, hoovered all of downstairs so shouldn't be too bad to pick up.
Youngest ds has snow day from school so am expecting him over from his Dads. (His week with his Dad but all his friends live over my way) Expect they will all be in for hot choc, so not much point in cleaning the floor!
Good luck skinty, hope everything goes ok. My sil is to be induced this week, she has gestational diabetes so they feel baby is "cooked" enough now. Will have new niece to look forward to.
Enjoy the snow, but keep warm and safe

    Morning All

Thanks for this weeks thread Natty, posting from paid stuff, I am in again, we only have a dusting of snow here, so all the snow things don’t apply to me and my snow shovel etc is a permanent fixture in my car, hasn’t been out the boot since I bought it! Kitchen got a good going over yesterday as I batch cooked some stuff on Saturday & left clean up until Sunday so I have crossed off what’s done or not needing done.

Hugs to Bonnie & Dancemum, and anyone else who needs it, only just skimmed over last page of the thread, my laptop takes ages to fire up ages to respond to anything & I don’t have the patience , hence most of my posting done from paid stuff!

I finish at 3 Tues, Wed Thur this week so hope to get some extra ironing done after dinner, clubs etc

Ionafan - Thanks for reminding me, will have to watch Call the Midwife on i-player, was this the first one

Skint - Good luck today, hope miss Skintbaby arrives safe & healthy x

Take care to all those who have a lot of snow, I am still in shock that it has practically by-passed us up here!

I have had to remove my large mirror from my main LR wall, kitten who was jumping up to eat plant decided my faux leather mirror was to be used as a scratching post, she was actually stuck to the frame of it Saturday night  (this was only 24 hours after she had her wee op to get her ‘bits’ removed”) It was an expensive mirror so I don’t want to throw it out but not sure If it can be recovered or whether its financially feasible to get this done.

  • Hi all
I'm in this week if you will have me. Thanks for the list Natty x
Things been a bit upside down here. OH and BiL have moved washing machine and TD into the big cupboard. I've only been asking for this to happen for 6yrs. It took them a couple of hours and that included running pipes and stuff. Men!
I'm also preparing to split the big room upstairs into 2 rooms so that the kids have a room each. Did DDs room the other day and managed to get 6 boxes for carboot and threw oot a whole load of crap too! So that room is ready for the move just need to get the big room organised now!

Off to find a list, get breakfast, take meds then I will make a start!
