I just popped back along as I realised how grumpy I was when I posted earlier this morning, 1stTimer, your message is greatly appreciated - thank you!!
You are totally right, we have come along way. The fact I am getting mad at myself for spending a bit of money on going out for my friends birthday when I literally never go out anymore is just silly!!
I shall just have to see where I can make more pennies to put toward my overpayments in June rather than relying on spending less than my budgeted "spare" money of £300. It's also imperative that I do not go over that £300 during the rest of May!!!!! I will not I will not I will not!!!!!Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Finally!! Just thrown an overpayment of £120 over to the BC, wanted it to be £150 so may have to see where I can scrape £30 from between now June

Not much to report, think I'm feeling a bit mechanical about this whole debt paying business and it's making me feel a bit meh if you know what I mean?!
Had my hair done yesterday and was the planned £55. Don't really have any money to spend for the rest of the month now, gone way over the £225 target I set myself but I must stay under the £300 I'm "allowed" in my monthly budget. I'm working tomorrow, got BF's family visiting on Sunday and I've got more overtime booked in for next weekend too so there shouldn't be too many opportunities for spending money. I'll just have to make the top-up shop I got this week last until the end of the month. Fingers crossed I make my 25 NSD target!!!!
I have been running twice so far this week, I may be able to squeeze a quick run in tonight and then I will top it up to 4 on Sunday as I have last week's deficit to make back. If worst comes to worst I'll just have to make do with 3 this week.
BF is paying off his entire £1300 credit card today, he's absolutely destroyed all his debt and will now be debt free for the first time since before he went to uni!! So proud of my little money saving troll!! (I dubbed him this after he got all grumpy at the thought of spending money on certain things!) He'll go headlong into saving pennies now, although we have a couple of weeks off at the beginning of June so I'll let him buy me a few treats!! haha!!!! :rotfl:Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Just worked out there's a spare £5 in my main account so that's been whipped across to my BC. Looking at my little payment grid of 100 x £30 squares I need to find £15 more which will give me a round 49% paid. So I'll be pretty close to being at 50% a whole month early!!! Need to keep up the momentum and get my target of £3K paid by the end of the year. Maybe if I work really hard I could clear the whole balance which would mean finding another £600 or so... We'll see we'll see

Monday AGAIN!!!
Had an NSD weekend as per usual, worked on Saturday (as a favour no OT) but it kept me busy aaaalll day and then had BF's family yesterday and they treated us to lunch. We went somewhere that offers Tastecard discount and we got over £60 knocked off the bill!! I only paid £30 for the entire year (last October before being a tight ar*e!) so even though we haven't been going out that much recently I've definitely made my money back a few times over already! That counts as good money saving doesn't it?!
My loan DD went out today so have updated my signature, only 10 months to go on that, it services itself quite nicely so I don't really have to worry about it. Will be glad when it's gone though and then I can just keep paying the £200 into a savings account cos I'm so used to not having it! I was stupid to get the blasted thing in the first place but you live and learn.
Not much else to report, feeling a bit pants today, I'm all achey but I'm sure I'll survive. Literally cannot wait to have some time off in a couple of weeks!

Oh and I didn't get my 3rd run in for the week yesterday never mind the 4th so that means I have 3 runs in total to catch up on :eek:Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

So I'm still being tight, not spending anything unless I have to and generally just getting by on as little money as possible. Think BF is getting a bit fed up with my lame meal planning this month. Not sure what happened but I just couldn't get my head round what I wanted to cook! Hopefully next month will be a bit better, I'll make a new list and head to the supermarket this weekend when my credit card resets for next month. Think I'll just miss my NSD target again too as I needed some shampoo today so don't think I can possibly make 25
Bad planning again!!
Couple of things I need to sort this week:
Water meter reading & leak cost form
Electricity & Gas meter readings as I think they have underestimated slightly when they set our monthly DD

Not much to report, went for a run on Wednesday so got 2 more to fit in this week. Working overtime all weekend so that's extra pennies in my pocket
Not spending any money until my cashback CC resets for the next month (due this weekend). Need to get my head down and meal plan properly as I had a wobble at the beginning of May and lost my inspiration!! Plod plod plod... Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Ooh just logged on to my BC account and I've noticed they've changed the BT offer from 6.9% life of balance to 0% until April 2014
I'll take that!! Don't actually have that much to transfer straight over but what I'm thinking is I'll transfer my monthly spends from my cashback credit card over for this month (and any subsequent months the offer lasts for) whilst using the money I would have paid towards the monthly spends bill to pay off the rest of the BC balance which is at 6.9%. Means I'll save a bit in interest while I'm throwing everything I can at the debt. Always nice when you get a little surprise like that!! Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000
