scaredy_cat wrote: »nicki - bless dd singing that!! where did she get that from?
She got it from my Houseworks CD :rotfl: Thing is only being 6 she shouldn't really know it if you see what I mean - it's way before her time (1988 actually  Goodness me thats before my brothers time and he's 15 this year :o). DD loves to sing but the trouble is she has a very ecclectic taste so we can't just go and buy her an album (especially with some of the songs she likes) so we went through our CD collection with her and made her her own Mix CDs up making sure there were no explicit lyrics in any of the songsOh that was fun!
So she now has 2 (and a 3rd in progress) mix CD's and you won't believe the playlist :rotfl::- Candyman - Christina Aguilera

I've just got up, came straight here to check and no news from maralum, yet?
My neighbour had her baby girl yesterday. In a pool at home. I haven't seen her yet but really want to go and coo!
Oops postie just came in lounge and me in my nightie. Because the front door goes straight into lounge they always open door and put post in on my 'shoe basket'. DH never locks it when he goes out early to work.
To do today
Try to get boys out of bed
Get boys to pick up clothes in their rooms.
Get boys to strip and change their beds.
Ring around for a rear axle for son's car!! Seems to be bent somehow! Actually it's my car not DS2s only he forgets!
Friday, those dreaded kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Vacuum (even if it's around clutter)boys to do
Level Two
Vacuum mattress
Pick up any toys etc laying around (if they are old enough can of course delegate)Yes they are old enough but at 16 and 18 need a KICK sometimes!
Strip beds and wash linen, replace with fresh linen, KICK for boys again
Level Three
Dust
Clean window
Declutter Mission Task
27 fling boogie, time to grab a bag and clear that clutter!
I wasn't well yesterday and I think they took advantage of the situation, I went to bed early and lounge looks like a bomb has hit it, so today I am really feeling wound up and likely to explode. Wouldn't advise anyone to cross me today. Truthfully, I'm just as likely to cry, don't tell boys that cos I want them to do what should be their jobs anyway.
I might have a look at DDs room, give it a dust as she isn't home until June.
Nicki, that is an amazing list, can I have a copy too please? DD did one like that but it has gone missing and you can never do it again the same. I'm off to see what I can find to play now. It must cheer me up!!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

No news is hopefuly good news, maralum, all of us are thinking of you
Michelle, good luck with all that, sounds like a very busy day you have there
Well all but the vacuuming to do upstairs, have even done the window, ewww where does that grime come from. Will vacuum through upstairs once DP gets up, can do downstairs but upstairs would wake him.
Downside is stacks of washing to do, inc soggy socks from kids room, yak, but cloudy here and forecast is for rain. Will have to just fill the airers and if I must use the dryer I will.
Nicki I would rather my son sang that than 'What's that coming over the hill is it a monster' unless he's got the song on that is the only bit he sings. Sometimes it's 'I see you baby shakiing that !!!!' DS1 does Elvis, thanks to Lilo and Stitch :rotfl:
Dogs also been out, they'd just cut the grass in the field I take them to so my trainers are green! Need to clean them. List for the rest of the day looks something like this
[STRIKE]Tackle more of laundry mountain, drying will be a real problem
Sort some of the undies baskets
S&S bathroom and kitchen
Sort through fridge make sure anything with close dates used or frozen
Go through paparwork for DS1s school review next week
Vacuum and mop living room, kitchen and halls
Start emptying wardrobes and drawers, having a clothes sort this weekend
Clean vacuum cleaner inc filters (thanks for the reminder boston!)
Clear up any mess from garden (dogs) and check on seedlings/bulbs
Cancel puppys vets appointment as eventually she has stopped coughing!!! [/STRIKE]
Farm shop for meat
2 hours minimum study time
Make fridge and freezer list then do meal plans
Phone calls, several to make, support group ones, kennels for holidays, prices for car parts
Vacuum through all rooms upstairs
Put away 2 loads of laundry
Think that will do for nowOne day I might be more organised...........

Not got much to do today, did the kids room the other day so am doing my room later. WOnt take long to change bedding and hoover matteress.
Also need to:
Sort nappies out as I didnt do them last night - House was more interesting!
Hoover lounge - grr toddlers always make so much mess!
Prep dinner so I make it otherwise it will be something quick from the freezer!
I think thats it!
A nice easy day for me! Doing this each day has made a difference, its actually looking clean here now and less cluttered! Am hoping I will stick to doing this though!
Just reading the thread makes me want to get up and clean, if dd2 didnt sleep in the mornings, I would have music on while doing it!0 -
Morning everyone. Looks overcast here, but i'm gonna put kids bedding out and keep my fingers crossed. I havent had any washing hanging in the house for about six weeks and now that house is clean and tidy I just dont want to start making it look a mess!
Any way, finished my list for today. Started early as I'm leaving my mum in charge this aft:o It'll be a right mess when i get back:o she just lets kids get EVERYTHING out. Oh well, at least its clean.
