IMEI number should be 15 digits, type in *#06# or you will find it under the battery, plus the network it's locked to.

both can be unlocked but only the ef61 remotely by code, the a1000 needed to be unlock by box and maybe testpoint depending on boot loader version.

why don't you take them to a shop.
