    Hello. I have a Motorola V3i I need to unlock.

    I tried a shop today who suggested he could unlock it but it would need to be sent away and would cost £20 (seems steep)

    Has anyone got any suggestions or software links - please

    no free codes for this you maybe able to do it by cable & s/w otherwise you need to find someone with hardware clip suitable for alcatel

    I have a motorola V220 that was locked to tesco mobile but they now give you the unlock code for free as long as you have credited a minimum of £30 in airtime to the phone. I simply phoned customer support and was given the code for free, which you simply enter after putting in another sim card. My phone is now able to use any sim. I'm so pleased it was easy and free!!!:D
